Voice Actors - Complain about American/Canadian ones, Gush about Japanese ones, I guess

I love how even the smallest amount of pushback causes some of them to just crumble.
I'm thinking of leaking stuff I know because it's not good. The only thing that's holding me back is my life, my feels and I don't want to die horribly. I'm pretty sure they do have gay ops.

Oh, did he? That's disappointing to hear.
Wait nevermind I thought I saw his name in this list but it wasn't. I'm just misremembering things.

Also the list might be a bit outdated seeing as how Stephanie Sheh and Zeno Robinson aren't mentioned at all. Plus I think Neil Kaplan actually attended a convention with Vic a couple months back but I'll have to double check that.

That asshole? I'd be surprised to hear that considering that melodramatic douchebag accused Vic of "mounting him" by leaning over to offer him a piggyback ride.

The cherry on top will be the creator also calling out these stupid niggers. :optimistic:
The Dandadan author will suddenly write about how he really likes the new Drama Queen manga and how the elephant things remind him of fucking niggers, "blacku piggu go hooooome!"

Anyway, I consider this another reason to stick with subs. Every time I hear a dubber doing their "anime voice" I die a little inside.

Everyone clowns on anime dubs, but honestly, there's something charming about dubs pre-2010s. Just finished Buso Renkin and I watched it dubbed--honestly am not sure why I did, but eh. While it can be considered mid especially for a late-2000s Viz dub, outside of David Lodge doing his Puppetmon voice taken to 11, I didn't want to stab out my eardrums hearing uncaring script-reads and phoned-in lines that have become prominently noticeable in recent years. Also nearly everyone had a unique voice that I didn't have to question if two characters were being played by the same VA, which could've been the case here and there for all I know.

FFS I watched that newer Digimon movie dubbed, and the quality is all over the fucking place. That AJ faggot was even in it as the Gary-Sue OC and while he wouldn't have been out-of-place in the 2000s, he was just so middle of the road in terms of VAs for the dub, and he was one of the better ones, oddly enough, with the worst being Amardillomon and he was being voiced by Robbie Daymond. The ADR director completely fucked this one up (and the coof isn't to blame for this), it was such a baffling dub to behold because even fucking Tri and Kizuna (which was produced during the coof) had better quality.

The first point was just wrong anyways (if we're talking about voice acting rather than just regular acting).
Patches, since Demons' Souls, has been voiced by William Vanderpuye, a black man. Eileen the Crow was voiced by Jacqueline Boatswain, a black woman. Malenia, Blade of Miquella was voiced by Pippa Benett Warner, a black woman. Has he tried just not sounding like a nigger? Or, Lord forbid, a nigger doing that dumb post-2010s anime dub voice?

Tri and Kizuna were dubbed by Studiopolis and produced by Shout factory AKA legit professional studios.

The Digimon movie redubs were done at Sound Cadence and produced by Discotek AKA bottom of the barrel losers and faggots of the industry. You know the shitty Lovely Complex dub which got the script raped by scat fetishist Jelloapocalypse aka Brendan Blaber? They did it as well. They even have the same director, Marissa Lenti. That's why they suck ass.

Marissa Lenti
Holy shit this cunt has sanpaku eyes in everything I see of her.

The only slack I can give on the fanart is that it was done by a teenager and I genuinely think it is immoral to have thousands of people gang up on teenagers, especially since it wasn't like a pretentious "I fixed it" type tweet.

It's just annoying how the internet blows things out of proportion that fanart can lead to digital race wars. Since it almost reminds me of the Steven Universe fans harassing an artist for drawing a fat character skinny.

As for Beckles, I don't know the guy but he should've definitely stayed out of it as while it's nice to stand up for a young fan, it only brought more attention that made contributed to this whole thing blowing up the way it did, like he probably made the situation worse.

Not to mention,

Whether he still stands for this or not is irrelevant, but this whole segregation of voice casting is bullshit. Especially from anime dub voice actors because if they say this shit than maybe every English dub VA might as well get fired and dubbing companies should only hire Japanese-Americans unless the characters are White by this deranged logic.

That Apu Documentary guy did so much damage to the western voice acting industry.

Was anyone even attacking the artist over it? Unless the artist goes on their own tangents about their work, typically they get left alone or ignored. AJ wanted to make it all about himself (don't think he even properly credited the artist, either lmao) and I think that's where most of the backlash was coming from.

No people were being really nasty to them to the point the artist had to private their account for a few days, like Twitter is the website where anyone would get harrassed for art no matter what especially now when Twitter users can get paid for vitriolic content.

AJ did retweet the artist, but the backlash just was split to him as well, which continued the drama, now blowing it up into a weird fucking artist ethnic race war that is really stupid, especially when the culture war grifters like Grummz got involved too.

She wasn't just posting stuff for fun. She was legitimately charging money for that shit and had her docket full according to her profile. She's old enough to understand she was taunting a mob and specifically engaged in that so I have little to no sympathy.

Well the edit they made was still just for fun, not one of their commissions. Even if it was, posting something isn't provoking people since there was nothing indicating that, if some random edit of anime characters but black is enough to rage people up, that says a lot more about them.

Not to mention, every digital artist on the internet pretty much does commissions.

Most importantly, they're still a minor and unless they did something heinous (like anything that borders on illegal), there's no justification for people to gang up on a minor.

I'm just going to leave it at that since I don't want to derail the thread too much.

They make good money but not that good of money.
The son of a well know one of them worked as a part-time bagger that should tell you something.:epik:
This is debatable. Voice actors did bitch about getting paid only $150 for voicing characters in Jujitsu Kaisen 0.
Isn't Saab in his 40s and married. And now he's got.......a fucking vtuber character? Embarrassing....
Saab turned 30. But it's not suprising. A lot of these voice actors need to stream eight hours a day in order to make a living, like Jonah Scott or Zach Aguilar. AmaLee is also a V-Tuber.
