Like yeah, I guess you can raise it as an issue, assuming the judgement hasn’t been paid. It’s just such the wrong time to do it.
Is it something raised in this case at this time? I'd think it's a separate thing almost ... maybe filed against the appelate court.

I know it was a pain and a half in the ass to do the needful around Quasi and Rick.

Most telling is that the first email tells Hardin to write a check to the Digital Justice Foundation, and the second says to Venmo to Russ directly. It's obvious the people who paid the printing costs are the ones who got reimbursed and Russ is just double dipping wanting to get paid himself too.

Also, lol at Russ's easiest payment method being venmo, probably because his bank account is overdrawn

Slander. THE Ralphamale paid, and he is no darn nerd
Mayhap one of the only smart things he ever done did in his life. Making a legal problem go away for a few hundred is a deal and a steal.

But more generally, it seems that judges are normally NOT supposed to let outstanding legal debts affect their judgement - except in the case where it directly matters to the case at hand.

Where is that email? I get a completely black page 8 on my end, feel I'm missing something.

I suspect hardin is going to reply with a cancelled check to the DJF and a note adding "any and all emails associated with the DJF and appelate court costs" be added to discovery.

Pages 8-9. Are you using your browser to read pdfs? I found that in those cases closing and reopening doc then waiting a few sec fixes the issue
even multiple downloads over tor gave me the blackness, but I blame apple/microsoft/chrome/the jews.

Here's page 8 of 9 (6) and notice the lack of battery charge, and the careful framing of the email:

NOT EXACTLY SURE THIS IS SOMETHING YOU WANT TO BRING UP TO THE JUDGE'S ATTENTION

maybe filed against the appelate court.
The actual final order for costs came from the district court if I'm reading this correctly.

But it also wasn't January, as Greer said, so maybe I missed something else.

So based solely on Greer's motion we know:
  1. costs are automatically awarded
    1. Of a certain procedural type; Null doesn't have to pay DJF for their lawyertimes
  2. Those costs were about $300 something
  3. Russ asked Hardin to send a check to DJF at some point
  4. Russ never got the $300 or forgot he got it
What do we suspect that Hardin sent the payment to DJF, and DJF had Russ sign an agreement that costs go to them and he didn't notice/remember/care?

I suspect he found this email when digging through things looking for hitlers and thought he got a gotcha.

Amazing how many times Russell keeps reminding the Judge "Hey, remember how the 10th circuit made you eat shit for me? Remember how Florida made you eat shit for me?"

This is exactly the playbook of a high-school tattletale crybully. "Remember how the principal came down on my side? Don't want that again? Best give me what I want, it's reasonable."

Russ's error is thinking the Judge is too stupid to notice, or required by law to not notice.

Greer needs the money for hookers today and that's the only reason he filed it.
I dread to think what $200 gets you on a street corner in Las Vegas.

Highly likely.

We know he's hurting for money and he claims his car rental is $400 a week.

Are you suggesting Russ may have just made what was normally attorney-client privileged communications subject to discovery?

Don't know what you're all saying, this is a brilliant maneuver from russ, in fact it cancels out anything he was supposed to respond to and he should just sit back and enjoy his brilliance without exerting himself anymore, at least until the 24th I think :)
You jest, but I would not be surprised if this was his actual train of thought.

Even if he did, I believe it would just be limited to the emails where Hardin says he sent em the check. Then this complete nothing burger of a gotcha can be finished and Greer can go back to ignoring the Judge's order to disclose all of his witnesses and evidence.
