I think I’ve mentioned this before but I’ll say it again, the one truly great advice Dick/Dax gave on the podcast was “When you let friends borrow money you have to mentally treat it like you’re giving them a gift.”

Whatever the amount is, whether it’s $40 or $2000 if you’re going to loan money to a friend you do not want to ruin a positive relationship acting like you’re Shylock seeking your pound of flesh. And if the amount of money requested is so high that it makes the “gift” unreasonable to give then you just have to politely refuse and if they treat you differently that is purely on them.

You never know how long it’ll take for them to get the money back, they can say they’ll get it to you in 2 weeks and it ends up being 2 months. It could be never. That’s life.

I was never an active listener of Daxipad, I did used to watch some of his clips way back in the day primarily because they’d get recommended to me when I’d watch his PKA appearances.

I don’t watch PKA anymore either, but I sometimes see clips of Dax guest starring on there posted here. Why they keep inviting him is a mystery to me. When you listen to him talk now he just sounds like an unhinged faggot. He’s not funny, he’s not charismatic, he doesn’t even understand how to really be edgy anymore, he’s just an obnoxious whiny man-child. That’s not good guest material for your padded out 4 hour podcast, but he fits the “washed up internet celebrity“ archetype of the 3 hosts pretty well.
