It's been raining for the entire week but it did stop for a brief moment so I took Big Boss out for a little bit.

I also have a hooded rat, an African dwarf frog, and a nerite snail, but I don't have photos of them yet.

I sure as hell hope you don't have the frog in one of these things:

Because if you do we need to have a little talk about proper African Dwarf Frog care...

Aw hell no. I got a heated/filtered 2.5g for the froggy. I used to work at a large chain of pet stores that I will not name here, so I know the pain of dealing with dumbfucks who insist on keeping their frogs (and bettas) in litle boxes like that, or vases. :twisted:

I have a pretty sweet set-up for one of my bettas. A big (well, for a betta) fluval six gallon. Some people will swear up and down they need ten gallons but that's not true at all. Their waste output is very small and if you're doing regular water changes and substrate rinses there's no purpose for them to have a ten gallon.

Here's my tank set-ups;

Fifty five gallon long for the Oscar, sand substrate

Two crayfish, each in ten gallon tanks of their own (highly cannibalistic animals..)

Two Dalmatian mollies I rescued from my abusive to fish sister, in a five gallon because I'm a little crunched on space for the shelf they have to be on.

One betta in a Fluval, the other in a three gallon jar. Both receive proper heat, monitored with thermometers, and are kept in excellent health. I say that because people will flip their shit after I say I use a jar.

55 gallon long- Red Devils

Future projects; Fifty five long that I think I'll use to grow plants in exclusively. I don't really have the proper tools I need.

Mister man is going to be turning 7 in a couple weeks. I wonder if he needs any more toys?

He actually puts them into a pile himself. He thinks he's herding them.

I need to start leaving boxes out for my cat...

I've been fighting with my cat forever to keep her off the top of my bookshelf. Like, I keep stuff up there that she's always knocking down. So, finally, one day, I give up and yield that territory to her:

She loves to perch up there and watch me do stuff on my computer. Though, I think giving up that space to her was a mistake. It shows weakness. She's going to keep pushing and pushing, until one of these days, I'll be stuck in a closet and the rest of the apartment will be hers.
