My suppressor got approved. Now I just have a cylinder with nothing to put it on as the 3 prong adapter is on back order until June 2025. Feels bad man.

I did not know that. However, the inability to run a modern light (Surefire X300U or GTFO) on a fullsized pistol is unacceptable to me.You may not know this, but you can swap in the extended release from the HK45C into legacy USPs.
I have one on my P2000, a must, imho.
I don't know the case but 2A rights have only been expanding for the last 50 years so a definitive ban on assault weapon bans is on the menu for this SCOTUS.So while waiting for my training course/applying for my license I've been doing some research. My state bans "assault weapons" and has a high capacity magazine ban. Anyone keeping up-to-date with Snope vs. Brown have an opinion on how it may go? Could we see the end of assault weapon bans and magazine limits in the next year? I really want to buy an AR-15 but they are straight up banned unless you get a fixed magazine (IIRC), which is... retarded.
Depends a bit on exactly where you are, as different states define "assault weapon" differently. For states that define an assault weapon via various "features," you have two options. (if it's "fixed-mag or bust," skip to 2)So while waiting for my training course/applying for my license I've been doing some research. Yes, I'm aware of the adapters but it makes holster selection even more impossible. I'm still butt hurt that Safariland refuses to make a lvl 3 holster for the VP9 w/ ACRO P2.
It's not that you can't put the light on and get custom holster, you just can't get a Safariland holster because no one is using that pistol for duty use anyway. It more of an issue with pistols that never gain traction as a popular duty pistol. Safariland wont spend the spend to get the holster molds made. I had kinda written off the USP, but now I am intrigued again because of the Grayguns trigger upgrades. Aftermarket for them is meh, and iron sight options are few, But they don't really need anything beyond trigger work and sights you can get along with. Not the most relevant handguns, but fine for carry or HD.However, the inability to run a modern light (Surefire X300U or GTFO) on a fullsized pistol is unacceptable to me.
I don’t have a shotgun yet and I have been eyeing the Mossberg 590S very hard. The ability to use the 1-3/4” shorty shells without using one of those aftermarket adapters/inserts is very appealing.Shoutout to any weapon that still features a bayonet mount. Particularly the Mossberg 590a1 retrograde. This thing looks amazing and is relatively cheap for a quality firearm.

I've got one myself and it shoots and runs great. My only complaint is that the finish on the stock and grip is really fucking bad when you look at it up close. It is real wood though if you strip it off, so I'd recommend to anyone that wants one to use and abuse it until the finish is fucked, then refinish it yourself.Shoutout to any weapon that still features a bayonet mount. The stock design where you can have your right hand just forward of the butt makes it much more "wieldable" as an actual weapon than a lot of more modern bayoneted rifles. It's a shame the EM-2 in .280 never got it's day in the sun as it is a fine rifle. That optic is shit though.View attachment 6746959
EM-2 with bayonet fucks so hard
Beautiful gun. The 590A1 is about 500 bucks more than the 590 retrograde. Do you think there's enough of an improvement between the models to warrant the price tag? It's not incredibly expensive either way I'm just curious.Shoutout to any weapon that still features a bayonet mount. Particularly the Mossberg 590a1 retrograde. I currently do not own either, but from what I understand, the 590A1 [KABLOOEY B$$MST1CK] can suffer a lot of abuse and is more fitted towards actual military/direct action applications. This means If you own guns for protecting your house or for sport, I would get the cheaper shotgun. However, if you are looking to have a shotgun that always works and has actual proof of service, the 590A1 is preferred.Beautiful gun. The 590A1 is about 500 bucks more than the 590 retrograde. I think I once read the A1 is more robust mainly because the Navy/Marines were tired of them getting crushed in heavy ship doors.I currently do not own either, but from what I understand, the 590A1 [KABLOOEY B$$MST1CK] can suffer a lot of abuse and is more fitted towards actual military/direct action applications. Yeah, the main change is a behemoth barrel wall so they could continue to be retarded with no consequence.I think I once read the A1 is more robust mainly because the Navy/Marines were tired of them getting crushed in heavy ship doors.
How else were they supposed to stop slamming the screen doors?Yeah, the main change is a behemoth barrel wall so they could continue to be retarded with no consequence.
Listen here, dick. You ever seen what a slurry of lube, cum, and projectile vomit does to a hinge? Sometimes you need to pry open those doors with the gun to get to the orgy room.Yeah, the main change is a behemoth barrel wall so they could continue to be retarded with no consequence.
if you reload you might have problems with the necks crumpling. it's an issue endemic to bottle necked pistol cartridges. The brass is alot thinner (usually) than in a rifle's case neck. It's not that you can't put the light on and get custom holster, you just can't get a Safariland holster because no one is using that pistol for duty use anyway. Anyone here have experience with .357 Sig(gers)? I have some 10mm short and weak (40 S&W) that I am considering converting so that they are a speedy 9mm instead of a 40 S&W. I know it's not a .357 Mag. View attachment 6746881
