Yeah, i find that hard to believe. These people have no friends otside of Doom... correction, they have no lives outside of Doom. As for the winners and runner ups. No suprises there, the same old shit. Half of the winners are KKKlub retards, the other half Sunlust copycats. Of course we have the obligatory, Lillith wannabe pixalated vomit too. What else is there to say?
I can at least admit that Eviternity 2 derserves it. I haven't played it, but a megawad of such colorful variety and workload, should be recognized in some capacity. Most importantly, it is its own thing, it's not a cliche copycat of a tired trope like everyone else tries to make, just because of how easy it is to impress the fags with.
I'm not sure if i can say the same about "Nostalgic Entropy". Not only does it look like another gay protagonist wad, which stinks of a cacoward bait... it's also not Doom. Sure, it's original and all, but if i want to play a game that looks like it was made on the Build engine, i'll play something on the actual Build engine. I don't want Doom to look like Duke Nukem 3D, that's not what i'm in for. This is why i think there should be separation between vanilla Doom maps/map sets, and Doom mods/conversions, or overly detailed Boom/MBF wads. Keep the vanilla stuff on one side and all the shit that doesn't look like Doom on the other. Even Troonkid would agree with that, here's an old quote from him as a reminder of how cool he can be, when he's honest and doesn't suck troon dick:
Here's something that also took effort but it's an unplayable mess - Necromantic Thirst, also endorsed by Eselfartium, who allowed them to use BTSX textures,. Yup, the Sunlust wannabes are here to stay, accompanied by Formless Garbage, Simulacrum, Firefly and the rest of the unispired crap.
Umbra is beyond pathetic., it's not only made by a moderator, it was made by a moderator who also judges the awards, so we have yet another example of the fags rewarding themselves, just like how the talentless bitch Major Arlene was judging the awards before and handed one to herself for her Technicolor abomination. It's like, have some fucking humbleness, exclude yourself from the nominations if you're going to judge the damn thing.
The name of the Eggowards is most likely a joke, but make no mistakes, they're not mocking or parodying the Cacowards. The people who are behind it are the KKKlub junior. Just another circlejerk group formed on discord. Their choices are not much better, seeing how they don't have the balls to mention at least one DBP, like, for exmaple, Lunar Strain, which absolutely deserves it and puts most of the KKKlub shit to shame.
