They are not admissible in the United States, but executive branch departments trust them and they are used for non-court purposes by the government. People will say they are not accurate/reliable but IMO it's more complicated than that. They are basically entirely dependent on a good operator and the person being sober. If the Poly operator is good the machine is essentially perfectly accurate, but their is this part that is essentially vibe based where the operator has to ensure that you aren't doing shit to defeat it.

It does seem also seem to essentially be possible to train your self to be so ice cold you beat the machine, but that's the kind of thing that one in fifty CIA undercover field agents can do.

He did a decent job on solo streams with his friends when PPP had an emergency about a year ago, but I was just using it as background noise while I was playing my own vidja for the most part. It didn't rise to the level of being entertaining in its own right, but it was above abject silence. His post show streams suck energy from the viewer, you see a spaced out and jaded man killing time until he is exhausted enough to crash. When he streamed his game streams during normal stream time, he had enough energy to be marginally entertaining. Then again, that was probably his professional online buddy persona that he has cultivated over years. When he's doing it after the main event and he has earned his money for the day, you can tell he is miserable and just doing it to avoid losing the paypigs. Knowing that he's running a Pay Pig Pen on discord between shows and is essentially a monkey on a string for a host of paypigs paints a dismal picture, but he is ultimately just being hoisted on a petard of his own making. He chose to be there and he continues to choose to stay there. He was unironically better off as an Uber driver out of the public eye.

Yeah its hard to imagine how draining it is to entertain some weird parasocial group of sickos and losers for that many hours, even if they are very similiar to yourself.
