A lot of the votes that made it Too Big To Rig were first time and flipped voters. Both of whom hold reservations about Republicans. A -lot- split their vote.

Voting for Trump, sometimes federal legislature candidates, and by far for -Democrat- state level politicians. This is a big reason a lot of Federal House seats were so damn close.

The goal in the next 2-4 years will be to convince those voters that their vote for Republicans was good but that their split was bad. And thankfully... the Democrats are their own worst enemy here. A -lot- of them refuse to see reality, taking the split vote as proof that Trump was uniquely charismatic and not as those votes actively falling out of their grasp and being vulnerable to Republican capture.
