You can't fail as hard as Kamala did with the thumb pressed so firmly on the scale as what she had and not face consequences, especially when there's still debts to pay as well as angry donors wondering where all that money went. But what I believe is pushing this along faster than what we got with Hillary in 2016 are the polls starting to come out that suggest a fairly significant number of Democrat voters not only don't see the problems with Kamala as a candidate; they think she should be in a more active leadership role in the party. Everyone knows that would be the death of the party and so something's got to get out there to end her quick.
