It's hard, if I'm about to leave I'll unleash my fuckery like it's an early 2000's CoD lobby but otherwise...yeah this is why I barely play multiplayer games. Since you mentioned HD2, I wanted to play it but after that GameGuard and Sony login shit (among other problems) I refused to even look at it. That being said, it looks like it just got a huge playerbase increase from the update. Also they banned the guy who made the popular anti-GameGuard thread lol.
Was watching it until Devin left and Synth loaded Breakers. Man the awards were boring and there just weren't that many stuff for chud rage moments. Seeing Astro Bot getting GOTY over CCP propaganda and Korean goonerslop was kind of nice though. The only games to look forward to imo are Okami and Onimusha. Other than that it's all just a repeat of a lot of the summer games shows this year: gacha slop, AAA DEI goyslop, "indie" pixel art stuff, etc.
Onimusha very well may be that shit too. Okami is gonna be almost impossible to fuck up though. Same for Sonic Racing, I hope.

you can';t help but to feel crazy when it is like what are other people seeing that i am not seeing. The game is pitifully generic even compared to some of the worst of this year yet people are praising it like it's something more than just bland gameplay with the vague nostalgia of whatever Indiana Jones is supposed to be.
Don't get it twisted I said i only wanted to play the game not that i was hype. There's something slightly interesting about an I.J game but reality will always disappoint by the things we can imagine. The game could have been a FPS with the whip being a fun mechanic like as a pseudo grapple for weapons or disarming an enemy during a fight. Of course those ideas are way too creative for the bland corporationization of what is gaming nowadays they played it safe and what we got is another game confused on what it was trying to do because they had a lot of ideas and none of them were fleshed out.

At this point the overall vibe of the game has been played out thanks to how there is no meaning behind nazis and their philosophy. From a narrative and gameplay standpoint we are in an era where you can get called a nazi at least once a week if you have a different opinion from some angry fuck who spends too much time on twitter. To me i think the Indiana Jones game shows the contrast of the Robocop Rogue City game as both are from properties/movies that are decades old yet one is a perfectly serviceable game while the other tries to be more than it is supposed to.
He probably doesn't know Trent as the "Nine Inch Nails guy". He does mostly play console baby games as his favorite games and the only real crossover in that medium is Quake unless I'm mistaken. Movies on the other hand in that era Trent is much more commonly associated with by name but Synth doesn't seem like a Tetsuo the Bullet Man or The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo fan.
I'm hoping that he will play through most of these on stream. I don't see any reason not to, he'll be pretty much occupied for the whole stream with the game and will actually make progress on it unlike the "off stream" games where he seems to fail to find motivation to play them. I think it'd contribute a bit more towards the podcast if they could just talk about aspects of the "best of" games while they're actively playing them instead of ignoring the section for over a month as they play through each individual game.
