Dave Brian Muscato / Danielle Tatiana Muscato / Danielle Brian Muscato - Half-Assed Trans Activist, Fully Arrested, Rape Appropriator, Currently Trying to Extort His Parents

Do retiring judges generally complete their docketed cases in Missouri? That's pretty common in places where I've worked, though there are time limits and lingering cases get moved to other judges' dockets eventually.
The answer to almost everything here is "it depends". There is a mandatory retirement age where you're forced off the bench, but it's somewhat common if you haven't aged out to stay semi-active and be a "special judge" for various purposes.

It's quite possible Santa will still handle Davy's case. He might clear out his docket rather then pass it over to a new judge. It's pretty common habit that saves time as a new judge would have to familiarize themselves with the case before sitting.

He would just not get assigned any new cases going forward and then be gone when he wrapped up his docket.

Something like that would be a usual outcome. He will also probably be heavily courted by various firms to come work with them after he finishes his cases, as it's very prestigious to have a retired circuit judge with your firm. I don't think he's aged out, just has enough years for that bad ass judicial retirement that you can still collect while making a big check at whatever firm who now gets to brag about having a retired judge as a partner or of counsel.

I'd vote for "of counsel" unless he likes recruiting new clients on the golf course. Being an equity partner can be such a pain in the ass.

Dave can really identify with people in their early 20’s stuck living with their parents.

EMOTIONAL ABUSE = They have money and will not give it to me.
In what possible world does Person A planning on completely cutting off Person B as soon as they've gotten as much money as they can from them make Person B the abusive narcissist?

I really think Dave believes he's going to go into court, charged with theft, and be allowed to show all the made up crap he's posted about his parents over the years and come out of there with a judgment against them and a million dollars in his back pocket.

The meltdown when he doesn't get any of that is going to be spectacularly entertaining.

At the very least, the judge should fine the Drs. Muscato heavily and turn the money over to Dave for crying so beautifully in court with his gigantic eyes.
