he clearly deleted a ton of shit, and from what little has been found, especially from his substack subscriptions by you its obvious he was center-right at minimum. his language usage also shows that as does family background. no lefty whines about the evils of porn and way fewer call out japan for being all bugmen post-#stopasianhate
You don't know that he deleted a ton of shit though. It's certainly very plausible though. But many people who have tweeter accounts and follow substacks don't write that many tweets or write themselves.
What is known - I linked to some bot that detected changes if his tweeter account name or description or some shit. Is that on the 9th of December he changed "UPenn" to "Penn".
The other part that isn't known is whether this guy who has the intelligence to print a ghost gun etc had dozens of pseudonyms online. One Reddit account was found but that's about it AFAIK - the rest of what people think about him hinges on a tweeter account that used his real name. Given he worked in software and lived in the US it is highly plausible that he never wrote his true political feelings online because it can really, really fuck your career options.
Also "center-right at minimum" - I won't argue strongly against this because I really don't care about politics and think labels like these for someone like this have no value whatsoever, but I would say if he was a part of any group then it was just an informal belonging to TPOT. Which is more of just a signal that someone likes to read and question things than it is about being a political position.
and if you read the tread here it was obviously just an iranian lolcow who admittedly did have valid complaints about the algo fucking her and just went about it the wrong way but if you've dealt with modern customer service it feels deserved to at least try to bring a gun to their offices.
Yes I have read the thread. I did an extensive amount of archiving etc and shared many thoughts on that thread when it happened. So although I may not be correct I have read the source material very well - her rabbit had died a few weeks/months previously also and she was particularly fond of it.
ust read through the highlights of the thread dude, we have cell phone signatures of someone traveling back and forth from dc to the shooting range the kid was only at a few times on the exact days he went
I'll go read through it, as I mentioned I'm not super well read into that situation because I found it kinda boring. I still don't think that kind of data is exactly a smoking gun because a real glowie would have a burner phone and probably be based somewhere that isn't DC (but then again, the government isn't known for sending its best)

I cant find this anywhere. Unless it's worded differently. Do you have a link? It really just sounds like he was an edgy/depressed autistic teenager who fucked around with guns a lot and trained at a facility that the police and various government departments also used. He got exceptionally lucky to find a spot to shoot from (but then again seems like he anticipated dying)
The only thing I found that was interesting was that he supposedly had encrypted messaging accounts and no one knows what they were used for - but that isn't indicative or glowies either. If they were even used it could just be that he got involved with some shitty clandestine political group who pushed him to do the shooting or he was just involved with the "wrong crowd" online. That isn't that unbelievable either because a few school shooters have been known to have had contact with other school shooters.
It mostly just reeks of police, secret service and government incompetence through and through.
You and many others say "glowie ops" and "deleted profiles" - I say that the past few decades were the halcyon days where the police etc had unprecedented access to data and other things and there weren't as many people driven to insanity by the internet and politics. The police used to have actual answers about stuff and used things like psychological profiles and all sorts of shit... but in this day and age it's not that easy.
I think you should also consider the role fame alone plays in things and try to ignore politics and the police sometimes - when people become hyper famous there are people who desire to harm them, not to actually achieve anything but just because they can form extreme parasocial relationships or just have very bizarre shit happening in their head (and not saying that that was the case there but it can definitely be a consideration)
This kind of stuff was a lot rarer not that long ago but now there are more celebrities than ever and there are more talking heads on the TV and more pundits on social media who never shut the fuck up. It has definitely impacted things and I personally have a hard time believing there is a glowie angle to every single fucking thing that happens because almost every politician and every government has proven themselves to be terminally and comedically incompetent throughout history.
And if you really were a glowie trying to make something happen would you really pick a fucking dorky autistic looking teenager as the prime candidate, make him do months of shooting practice and have him not even be able to make the shot? Or would you just do shit like plant false evidence or whatever other shit you have in your playbook.
