You can have a female custodes be a really lithe and tall willowy woman who has unrivaled psychic powers to buckbreak regular plebs into not rebelling. Male custodes are the mailed fist and the females the silken glove. His own bene gesserit to really complete the Dune flanderisation.
Custodes aren't psykers, and that would probably open them up to warp corruption. Even the sisters of silence they work with aren't psykers, they're anti psykers(nulls, pariahs, whatever you want to call them). On top of that, remember that one of the reasons for the webway project was wanting to avoid having to deal with the obnoxious navigators(psykers) and the warp in general(needing gellar fields to protect ships during travel, and still having to deal with warp fuckery regarding travel time in the warp).

I'll never not stop glazing that book trilogy its so fucking good. Genuinely some of the sickest literature in existence making you get real comfortable and complacent with the characters. Throughout the trilogy is sprinkled with fucked up shit but because you're familiar with the characters and their motives you almost look past it because they're just "surviving". Then you read the final book and then it really reminds you that these are nightlords.
Cavil is a producer. He left the Witcher series with Netflix because they were pozzing the fuck out of it and bastardizing the characters and story.
The cast of the 40K show will be 50 percent niggers, 49 percent fags and troons, and 1 percent white people who will be the bad guys. Also we will get a heartfelt moment where the characters reflect on why wipping out all the xenos in the Emperors name is actually wrong.

Isn't that what Sisters of Battle are for? I wouldn't mind a Samus-type scenario where the mandatory quota female Custodian is "female" for like a minute in the last episode where she takes off the helmet to speak clearly, otherwise you couldn't tell. I don't think it's impossible for the Emprah to make one just to see what happens. There can't be more 'cause only he knows how he tweaked the process for a woman candidate.
Difference between 40K and LotR/Witcher is that swarthoids and women don't look too out of place in there. Fags and troons would be burned for potential Slaaneshi corruption. Haven't seen the Amazon travesty, but Witcher was fucking unwatchable with some homely black chick playing Fringilla Vigo or Jaskier kissing a guy or mixed-race elves, all of which ran contrary to their estabilished characters in the books and made suspension of disbelief impossible. I don't mind a black inquisitor as long as the actor is competent and not some bored DIY hire farting out lines for a paycheck.
