I think a lot of it is due to how fucking inept he is at visiting his previously mentioned smug cruelty upon the likes of Quasi, Dan, and LESLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. To our knowledge he has been singularly unsuccessful at destroying their lives despite his frantic attempts to order his followers to do so, and his buffoonish attempts to legally destroy them, and thus while we know he is a piece of shit there is no real sense of "punishment" in throwing shit at him, which keeps shit nice and happy and casual for all involved.

That's a great point also. It feels like a lot of lolcows are protected by God himself with how much shit they get away with and how things always seem to go their way.
