Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

I like how the Primal evolutions of Kyogre and Groudon are most likely references to when the oceans first filled up billions of years ago and then when the sun will most likely overheat as it runs out of fuel billions of years from now. It also makes even more sense with the former being α, and the latter being Ω (first and last letters).

Supposedly it rained hard and nonstop for quite awhile with all the water vapor that accumulated in the primordial atmosphere (Primordial Sea), and eventually this planet will most likely turn into something like that 2nd planet is now (Desolate Land) as the sun runs out of fuel yet gets hotter (because the smaller core means more fusion).

I need to get better sleep, so I downloaded Pokemon Sleep.
>we will send your data to whatever third parties we feel like for any reason
>your phone must be placed on your mattress at all times
>you want to charge your phone WHILE you sleep? well how about fuck you?
>also the screen must stay on at all times because lol why not

Never mind, deleting this shit immediately. It’s like they want it to be as inconvenient as possible.

I'm convinced that most contemporary consoomer products are essentially roundabout shit tests
This just supports my conjecture

Not to mention you have to spend time awake after sleeping if you want to play the game effectively.

If it is advertisinv itself as a sleep game it should not take as long as most mobile gacha games.

But no they decided to add in competative level Pokemon tedium.

The screen needing to be on is what gets me. Again, you are supposed to be sleeping. And it quite litterally makes that harder.

I wish the games were more like the anime/manga, with events and special interactions with the pokemon you have. Maybe you enter a cavernous place and one of your pokemon decides he wants to fight, and you have to search the cave to find him. Maybe they get angry after losing one too many battles and you have to do x to get them happy and ready to fight again.

Idk, just something to break the monotony of capture the pokemon, level the pokemon, fight the pokemon, ad infinitum.

Make the Pokemon feel like actual animals/little guys/friends. If someone ever does this, they're going to make a fortune, mark my words.

They did. It helped that it was PC as well. Hugely so. Unfortunately they were too blatant in nabbing stuff from Pokemon so now are getting fucked in the arse.

Lmao Palworld lmao

Funniest thing about that is the head dude worked at Nintendo. You’d think he would know better than to steal stuff they have a stake in.

I KNEW that the Rainbow Rocket questline just an inkling of what the devs had in store. I got experience with cut content and know leftover content when I see it. Between it and Ultra Beasts, this could have been the best Pokemon story yet, that is if Lilly wasn't the main character.
Waking up in an ambulance after losing a fight or giving up halfway thru a battle is an interesting concept, definitely too dark for modern day Gamefreak. It would also explain the weird, one-off cutscene about Nanu "returning your body when you fall in battle" when going to Po Town.

Any local archive or sceencaps? My vpn doesn't play nice with catbox.
These are excel documents, apparently Gamefreak really loves using this program when developing their games even now.
The rentry page should still have torrent links for Niji aka Sun/Moon documents, if you have the know-how you can extract the info and see it for yourself. The filepath with the info is provided.
The anon is re-posting the info in the thread itself as well, translated
One of the first posts, check the replies to it.

I always thought that "Play peek-a-boo" "mechanic" was strangely toothless. Figures there was more to it.
The Niji leaks above all else drive home how unfinished the game is. We got a beta build of a game, all the others were finished to a certain point and only had minor features cut for the most part. Sun/Moon looks like they were completely different games at one point and features that were prioritized and finished picked seemingly at random, creating a confusing mess of a game. I still love it, definitely my favorite gen after 3/4, but you can tell the cancellation of Z and many, many ideas the devs had all conflicted with one another.
Very optimistic, especially considering how hard modding for SM is apparently, but I hope we see this game properly recreated one day, just like we now have a functional build of Spaceworld Gold thanks to the work of modders.

If anything I assume when they get round to the Legends Version of that game, I assume they will just tell what they wanted to tell.

As seems to be how they are handling Legends. A standalone complete game that tells a story they always wanted to but never got the chance.

Does anyone here ever think about creating Pokémon regions? I have very little artistic or coding skills so I literally just think.
I haven't watched this video much but it had me thinking for like an hour about what would happen if the Gen 5 games were based on England instead of NY/USA. Also, what Galar would be like if it had more effort put into it and was less pozzed.
In my dream Pokémon game set in Hoenn, one of the plot points to why Groudon defend his territory would be an underground hollow area under hoenn where evolution would happen differently (cut hoenn pokemon and beta gen 3 designs) and it would be a totally wild area with lots of exploration rather than a normal region.

Edit: one of the entrances would be the vulcan, so very few people would know of the existence of these new Hoenn pokémon. I would like to make it post game so we have something new to explore and get data by catching it and see how different they are from the above versions and the hoennian underground variants.

As for how to enter: magma diving or using psychic powers to push the magma away for you to enter.

There would be npcs inside but no towns, it would be pokemon researchers watching and studying like real ones.

But the idea is to improve the existing regions rather than creating new ones.
Every time I play a hack that does this, it just feels so fucking cool.
