Can they even avoid the subpoenas beyond outright refusing to speak or submitting an affidavit along the lines of "I have nothing of substance to say with regards to this case"?

Since he's doing felony shit in emails, does that mean his emails could be looked into? I think the answer would usually be no due to private legal communmications with his lawyer, BUT he's prose. I guess this case is moving towards discovery so it doesn't matter anyway. Hopefully this helps the discovery phase by giving hardin more cause to access his mail.
