I can't believe Aaron Rodgers did this to the Jets. Such a well run organization until he showed up
This shit is hilarious. This is obviously coming from Joe Douglas, so I have to maintain some level skepticism. Nothing is my fault! It's all the kids'! There is some corroborating evidence for the game ball speech and there's pictures of him in the draft room on the phone. The best evidence is that the Jets have been ineptly run for a long time. Putting your 17 year old nepo b aby in charge is exactly what a retarded owner would do.

Almost all NFL owners seem like nepotistic retards. I look forward to "Brick" and Jack further fucking up the organization when Woody dies.
I dunno when multiple of the kids are involved you're more likely to wind up with a Denver situation where they all squabble over who gets to control the family's biggest asset, take each other to court, and be ultimately forced to sell the team.
Of course, the downside is that you're then ruled by a corporate board of owners, which I'm not sure is better.

The Chargers have the most beautiful uniforms in the NFL with the powder blues, yellow, and electricity theme. Whoever decided to stop wearing the powder blues at some point should have been sent to a gulag.
I don't mind the Navy Blues of the 90s-2000s, but yes, the powder blues are best.
Similarly, I do like the Broncos lighter blue and orange color scheme rather than the dark blue and orange.

I was going to say Jeudy dodged a bullet because of Madden, but then I remembered he's on the Browns now... Maybe next trade

Also for people like me who were confused about the free kick thing, here's an explainer
According to the NFL rulebook, a team can attempt a free kick if they call a fair catch on the previous play.
But the play is not like a typical field goal. Instead, it looks like a kickoff with the ball marked at spot of the fair catch. The ensuing kick if worth three points, like a field goal, if it's good.
Dicker's try was from 57 yards out as the ball was at the Denver 47-yard line, meaning JK Scott was holding from the midfield logo. It is the longest fair catch kick in NFL history.
I never even knew that was an option, probably because it's impractical in 99.99% of situations, but huh. It was the first successful use of this for points since 1976.
The kick

Dude, he's currently having a career year on the Browns.
Turns out if you're a good contested catcher having a QB like Jameis is a career asset

Didn’t Rodger’s admit to fucking up his mind with ayahuasca to get over being molested and to cure his homosexuality causing the refs to hate him to get over some shit?
Aaron Rodgers is 100% a homosexual and I know it will eventually be confirmed publicly. The beard high profile girlfriends, the flaming live in assistant, and his strained family relationship scream homosexual.

Bro if I was an aged out QB and got traded into this shit, I would start playing GM too. Don't care if I make shit decisions or look like a diva, the alternative is a 17 year old trust fund baby playing Madden with my last career year

I thought things were absurd when Carlie Irsay was spotted on the sideline wearing a headset and gold cleats last season. Yes, heir an apparent needs to learn the team and the job. There are way of doing that and then there are ways of doing that. This is on a whole new level that I guess can only come from Jersey. Cowboys fans have to deal with Jerry Jones as long as voodoo magic and baby fetuses can keep him alive, but I think there is some hope with the kid at least.

Jets fans are staring down the barrel of 70 years of complete and total ineptitude. Woody Johnson isn't going to just wakeup one day and decide how he's operating is all wrong and he needs to change. I'm guessing his kid won't either based on how he's being raised. Guys like them know without a shadow of doubt that the decisions they make are correct because they got them to where they are today. Being born on third doesn't factor into it with these people.

I guess the only hope of the Jets is that Brick, way to let everyone know your kid is a retard off the jump Woody, takes this derailed train and crashes it into a chemical plant. All true Jets fans owe it to themselves to get hired by the organization, climb the ranks for 20 years, and then go full sleeper agent by making it Dan Snyder tier. A cadre a superfans need to infiltrate the building and collapse it from the inside. Self-sacrifice and organizational immolation is the name of the game. Force the Johnson family to sell. It might take 20-40 years, but it appears to be their only hope.

Thank you for continuing to make make laugh Jets. Your organization is once again the most laughable in the NFL and that is no small accomplishment. I wish Carl was still with us. His takes this season would be incredible.

Becoming Great Value AFC West Team seems to have had a positive effect on the Broncos.

The major downside with the way the NFL splits revenue between teams is you don't have to be an effective owner to make money as one.

The Lions Defense is basically a hospital ward r/n, and considering how the Lions just lost Montgomery for the rest of the year...

I'm not feelin' so good, Lions bros. :(
I got dinner this week with an old friend who decided to get into football for the first time this season. We were chatting back and forth about it, mostly about his impressions of the game, the TV experience, bitch a bit about commercials and not enough Sky Cam, the usual. I then ask him if he's picked his team yet.
He tells me the Lions, because he got so hype watching their Hard Knocks series
*pregnant pause, I don't say anything*
Him: "yyyyyyyeeeeaahhhh......"

If he's feeling this way as a complete noob to the sport, I imagine greater Detroit could use some Prozac

Honestly with how much failure has befallen the Lions over the years you kinda get numb to it, like a Jets or Browns fan.

At least this year we'll have a legit'ish excuse when we flameout in the playoffs against the Eagles.
