Learning that my nigga is a Studio Art major is my own personal 9/11.

I can't stop thinking about it and experiencing low-key existential horror at how cheap life is for some people.

Some people kill themselves by flying into buildings; some people get a full-on turndown-service mint-on-the-pillow ticket to Harvard and major in Studio Art despite a glaring lack of talent.

Like I've said here a few times, I've dabbled in art. California's community college system affords many opportunities for potheads, old ladies, C students, and various minority groups to fuck around in studio for a very reasonable price per unit.

A lot of success in that mileu is dependent on being able to wait patiently for the printer, washing your fucking hands before touching other people's shit, and being able to steal other people's ideas without being obvious. But two of the big deals are spending time with technique and being willing to give your own shit a VERY harsh eye.

The people I've known in art who were for real had whole sketchbooks with nothing but hand sketches.

Jazz is not that person.

I don't think Jazz is aware that graphite pencils come in different densities. #2 isn't just a brand.

I have gained some sympathy for the family since watching those Exulansic breakdowns...before I would've just said Sander is a yuge closeted GRIDS chaser. So the only attention or praise he's seen was for celebrating troon shit. College art is a complete waste of time unless you're either VERY good, you're interested in selling/appraising/critiquing/curating, or you're just there to fuck around in the studio for six hours a week and have fun.

It's one thing to rip on his art if he knows he's just there to fuck around and have fun, but KFC his art would be mediocre on a wall with the kids I was in high school with.

I think he's a child and shouldn't have been left to decide for himself what to major in.

Yeah, I don't think Jazz has ever been left to decide anything for himself. His entire life has been controlled by Jeanette's will for him. None of this has ever been about What Jazz Wants.

Jazz goes to Harvard simply because Jeanette wants to be able to brag about My Daughter, the Harvest Graduate, and cocktail parties and shit.

Honestly, what else could have Jazz majored in? Law? Medicine? Advanced Drag? Kid's a moron and has the depth of a pineapple. Art is the only thing he could have chosen that's more available to his intellect because he at least can paint within lines, but we know the rest of us would have been kicked out the class for showing up with something that a toddler could make.

He has such a terrible taste already and I doubt he can't learn much. All he knows about performance is drag and those stupid hand mannerisms.

I think that's possible for very healthy, strong guys. This is just overall the most horrible example I've ever seen.
Note how he says that his doctors actually thought he was neutered for good when they stopped the blockers after what?
Almost a decade and too little estrogen? Very interesting, since we're always told there's no permanent effects and they can always go back.
So these "doctors" actually expect the opposite of what they tell us, but then they got their grubby (and grabby) hands on what would've been an exceptionally strong and healthy one and his body actually tries to do just that with all force.
That makes me incredibly, actually sad.
Sure, it's a little unfair, almost "fascist" of me, but the very fact they ruined someone like that hits me harder than anything.
When you see that early reel with the sitting circle and jazz telling about the surgery you can immediately tell why he was transed,
because of how he looked. Imagine what a handsome guy he would've grown into. Now he's disfigured and has chronic health issues.
But he still could just stop it all and bounce back, lead a good life...
For me, it also hammers home a vague feeling of "no kid is really safe" and they really just want to destroy whomever they can get to.
And not only that, they got into his head so much, he still wants to go through with it all. Like a nightmare.
Even tho his body fights, his mind is broken. And there will be people in line to cut him up, maul him further and further. We - society - failed this boy.

I think I'm full, enough trans horror for me at the moment.
