This was actually one of our complaints. Z is honestly an entry that needs another chance, even if it’s just a good PC port (which would actually be the best outcome).
It's more complex than that, but yes, "games just suck now". There's some good stuff going on with indie and AA, provided you're willing to leave AAA IPs, which many people won't. There's also an issue of over convenience and data mining removing discussion and mystique from a game that isn't just autistic slap fights over balance.

I have no problem leaving AAA behind. My GotY the last 2 years have been remakes of games from 2008 and 2005, respectively, and even modern series I did enjoy like Dad of War and Spider-Man have now become pozzed.

There is no way a modern Wolverine game will be allowed to be as gory, manly or gritty as it needs to be, and Insomniac has no talent to make it work even if it did. DOA, maybe it will move a few copies on brand name alone but it will be another Spider-Man 2 situation where only terminal capeshit soyfaggots will care.

I just wanna say this for awareness sake, DEI is the least of Insomniac Wolverine's problems. Don't get me wrong, it very much is a problem, especially if you look at how fugly the leaked Jean Grey looked, & how beautiful Callisto (the character Debra Wilson is playing) looked in live action Fox films.
She knows people and is easy to work with. Now if only they would stop face scanning her and just have her stick to VA work.

Jack Black and Chris Pratt just end up as Jack Black and Chris Pratt no matter what they're in. One note actors. Debra wilson can do VA work perfectly fine without always sounding like Debra Wilson doing Debra Wilson things. It can simply be jarring at times to see real life people in games, especially if you're familiar enough with them. Keanu Reeves was in Cyberpunk, but he doesn't appear as himself in many things other than matrix shit but that's kind of expected due to being the star of the series.
There will be no Debra Wilson slander here. She's one of the few blacks that is actually talented. Besides, I'd rather her than the constant crop of actors like the ones who get directed by Wendee Lee, Patrick Seitz, the Arems, etc. She at least is able to make herself sound vocally different in roles. (Lani Minella, Frank Welker, and Nolan North are some others.) Also she and Cameron Monaghan were great in Star Wars.
