As an executive nurse, I actually work day to day with insurance claims case management cannot deal with. In fact, my hospital used to be owned by a prominent health insurance company. Not UHC though. As assistant CNO, I often have to coach billing on correct documentation to get claims billed properly. In fact, a lot of people don't realize that denial or rejection from insurance companies is often due to improper documentation and coding. In fact, sometimes it feels like a maze.
