Civvie seems displeased with recent political events in the US.

I've been rewatching the vids on his channel and it keeps bugging me. I made a post last year with the Geist vid about "Bi-Brow", a term he probably picked up on his discord from the tranny jannies there. The thing that bugs me is I think I'm seeing through the facade. Katie doesn't exist yet "she" fawns over Max Payne, a reference in Postal Brain Damage to a giant dildo that sounded almost personal.

I've gotten this image from watching his vids so much that he's a bisexual male who presents himself as the 40 year old boomer yet keeps a patreon discord that's strangely clean of smut yet will censor the word tranny and probably votes Democrat, which means he could be a member of the alphabet community.
It's the juxtaposition of the games and things he covers mixed with the hidden faggotry that makes me suspicious. He could have a hidden discord somewhere. If he does, he's not linking it on patreon and he's gone 6 years or so into a Youtube career without a leak or drama.

Pretty much. No use jumping at shadows. I'll just watch his interesting episodes (which are getting fewer), and ignore the rest. If he does troon out or whatever then his content will quickly become insufferable and I just stop watching lol.

Actually a really good video but I wish there was more focus on the shitty user maps, it was the funniest part by far.
Actually, I could watch an entire series on horrible mods made by teenagers. There's shit in doom like Gamarra's Soul Story or that one edgy wad where you fap to furry porn to heal.

There's a bunch of YouTube channels who clock 5 views each playing terrible Maximum Doom maps and honestly you need charisma to carry it because the maps are dreadful.

This video hit nicely not because I ever played any of these shitty maps for Duke... but because I played plenty of shitty maps for Doom (demon's gate), Quake, and Half-Life (desperately looking for mods from everywhere on the web like gamespy). It also hit a bit because I'm old and decrepit enough to have grown up with buying CDs from game stores with "2000 games!" on them (dos/win95) where a significant portion never worked and the rest were... a mixed bag to put it lightly.

All these moments will be lost... like tears... in the rain.

This video hit nicely not because I ever played any of these shitty maps for Duke... but because I played plenty of shitty maps for Doom (demon's gate), Quake, and Half-Life (desperately looking for mods from everywhere on the web like gamespy). It also hit a bit because I'm old and decrepit enough to have grown up with buying CDs from game stores with "2000 games!" on them (dos/win95) where a significant portion never worked and the rest were... a mixed bag to put it lightly.

All these moments will be lost... like tears... in the rain.

For the young'uns that doesn't understand this post, this was our Newgrounds. Except it cost money. And you had to leave the house.

There were some glimpses of greatness though and I fondly remember a multiplayer quake horror mod. It took place in a house. One player was the monster(a shambler) that could turn tiny and run through mouse holes in the walls to quickly get around the house then instantly transform into full size and start shamblin' players. It could be genuinely terrifying.

You don't know the real struggle if you didn't even have internet for the longest time and so you had to rely on floppy disks jampacked with shareware given to you by your dad, who had it given to him by a friend. Or a friend who would give him a pirated copy of a game on a reformatted CD.

Not like for real, where something bad has happened to me personally, more in the sense that I've been hopelessly plugging away at this massive thing after many months of prep-work, game capture, outlines, ideas, and attempting to think of a way to make a Half-Life 2 video that isn't just another Half-Life 2 video. I may have failed but I took some big swings.

Campaign and Episodes, all at once, because I think Half-Life 2's story isn't actually complete without it.

A problem I face with certain videos is that I don't want to make a video just to satisfy a demand for it. I find myself grimly agreeing with Gabe's sentiments at the end about being stumped. What is there to say about Half-Life 2 that hasn't been said?

This is, to date, the single longest video ever uploaded to the channel and I couldn't cut another thing if I wanted to. I hope you all enjoy it or at least get a few laughs from my juvenile bullshit. Apologies in advance if a certain song is stuck in your head. I promise it is worse for me after hearing it hundreds of times during the edit.
