My Little Brony II: The Cloppening

The PTS v. IRL video is up, can't embed it due to it being on ponytube so here it is: https://pony.tube/w/fnZLug78KENiwhCZA8PRto
They've got a website too. https://www.pts-irl.live/ they're gonna do another show for MareCon, which is an /mlp/ hosted online convention held around January or February.
Man I have seen some weird people at the renaissance fair but these guys carrying around giant pony plushies takes the cake.

Oh shit I recognize this guy, he was at both Mare Fairs.

He also took her to the beach on their honeymoon (more pics in that thread) fluttershy at the beach.jpg

Also I just realized I forgot to post this when I was uploading pics of MF24. This is the guy who organized a showing of the 2017 movie at a nearby theater.

Celestia's cute little fucktoy
I've been informed of the existence of a (non-canonical?) character called Sunset Shimmer. A shimmer doesn't sound like a flash, and I guess I know exactly what a "sunset shimmer" means.

Because of the different coloration of the characters, and because under the technical definition of Twilight the last "limbs" of the sun must have set, I'm guessing the Sparkle has to do with stars. Or "wandering stars" i.e. plánētes astéres i.e. planḗtēs/planets for short, but I think the astrophysics of the show may be serious screwed up.

I still haven't come to a conclusion on atmospheric effects though. The sun is the major non-geological source of heat, and twilight may be a time of particular effects I'm not aware of.

It makes sense the writers would create a character with a similar name to Twilight, as they're both current or former students of Princess Celestia.

Celestial bodies are just associated with having strong magical talent in MLP canon. Twilight Sparkle, Celestia, Sunset Shimmer, Starswirl, Sunburst, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie Lulamoon, etc.

Pegasi have weather or meteorological related names in the same vein. Rainbow Dash, Wind Sprint, Thunderlane, etc.

Ironically I have seen several people call Warhammer the MLP of tabletop games.
I don't know anything about nerd games so I assume it's true.
It might be because it gained mass appeal outside its original target audience, to the point gw decided to cater to that new audience rather than their previously loyal fan base.

Not a direct 1:1 correlation, but close enough to see a parallel.

Looked at it in detail, and there is gold in the expressions of the people observing the sheer public travesty of a balding skinny fat man bringing his sexually abused pillow to the beach.

Today on insane shit I have somehow never seen anyone bring up before, I present the end result of finding one of those "disturbing internet mystery" videos on Youtube and going to look at Poorly Planned Comix again:

ingramcomix.png

Some time between 15 and 19 August 2015, the guy behind Poorly Planned Comix reached out to Daniel Ingram of all people for mental health advice, with Ingram's last lines of the convo combined with this being part of a large schizo collage of emails sent out to people like Andrew Hussie being what makes me believe it actually was him:

Daniel Ingram said:
Daniel M. Ingram: Anyway, it grows late, and I have worked about 100 hours in the last 9 days, so I should crash

Daniel M. Ingram: Good typing with you

Daniel M. Ingram: Be well, my friend

To add further support for this, this is one of the random zero context images the guy put in before taking a short walk off the tall hotel.

The whole convo between them has this Evangelion vibe to it, seeing a kids show musician and a mentally wrecked artist discuss philosophy knowing how it all ends and the ultimate futility of it all.

I'm reading the start of Poorly Planned Comix and one of my favourite things that Andrew Hussie has ever made makes a subtle cameo:
