The ones i have seen have all activated the monetisation again on X. After having a melty tantrums about fascists and Nazis and how they wont support them. One of the main reasons I never used Twitter and don't use Xitter is specifically the large and unavoidable amount of porn. That shit is so fucking annoying and degenerate I can't stand it. I shouldn't have to be concerned about doom scrolling a site and constantly running into porn because degenerates can't not goon in the middle of the day.
One of my favorite things about KF compared to shitholes like Reddit (outside of the obvious troon shit) is the lack of porn sick degenerates constantly posting fetish shit. I can at least get the slightest amount of enjoyment knowing that random autists I chat with aren't typing responses to me with one second, and then reposting/commenting on random pornstars the next second.
Yeah... I kind of thought about what you said here over the past few days and it's pretty true. Most online places have allowed sex shit to be commonplace (it doesn't help that "normal" music videos are basically softcore porn nowadays).
There used to be such a thing as adult/18+ websites specifically for porn/sex related shit and I wish that were still the case - I don't hate them and it's good that they exist so people can do adult stuff but people linking to their OFs and dropping lewds everywhere has become exhausting.

They're showing the traffic to twitter.com, NOT x.com.
Since twitter.com is now obsolete, it is fully expected for the traffic to this domain to decrease. The traffic for x.com is almost 10 times higher than this. They updated the article later to acknowledge this stupid mistake and added the stats for X.com, but they still use this bogus stat to claim that "The numbers reflect repeated mass exoduses from X."
Meanwhile, let's see how bluesky is doing:

It's funny, because The Guardian tried to push a similar article earlier this month, comparing with the change of active users. It's obvious they're desperately trying to make BlueSky happen, but ultimately, it just doesn't offer anything new except for a fringe of the worst people Twitter had to offer (not unlike Gab in that regard).

The EU and UK have issued stern warnings, and have powers to impose huge fines more or less at will. The present governments in Canada and Australia are strongly hostile too. The case in Brazil was proof of concept. If all of the above blocked X in their regions around the same time, could it survive?
