Phil's correct, his bizarre existence has prominantly impacted the internet, and technically therefore life.
I don't know if I'd agree with his summarization that it's overall "positive", it's been a very mixed bag (although I think it's positive because it's funny and that's all I care about), but nobody can argue the enigma that is DarkSydePhil hasn't had an unusually large effect on internet culture, especially when you take into account how few other people have had a hand in Philburt's "career".

I disagree, to an extent. I think he hates Metokur, even on his (everlasting) deathbed for not allowing DSP to “clap back” at him making fun of him. He hates him BECAUSE of his illness, which causes people to sympathize with Jim and tell him how much he’ll be missed when he passes.

DSP craves that attention more than anything else. He’s such a selfish cunt that a man having SuperAIDS annoys him because said illness stops him from getting what he deserves, the ability to tell Metokur to go fuck himself.

DSP isn’t giving him a pass, and he’s comes dangerously close to admitting it. Phil just know if he says how he really feels he’ll lose more whales and the people that give him attention and worship him.

Do you have an example of what you consider doing this? Recently or whenever you noticed and noped out following the pigroach? I can sort of see your point with the lolcowlive duo even though I don't closely follow them myself. The keno crossover got Derich banned so that was funny even if the rest was rehash of stuff done better by Sidescrollers just a year before.

Whenever I hear the pigroach oink about how he invented video game videos, I just think of shit like this that would show you things like these if you pressed the (actual physical, not jpg appearance of) play buttons to try and learn. My mom has it and before she had it under control the amount of doctors visits and meds she was on were insane. Even with insurance she was still paying out the ass. Its not just diabetes doctors she'll be going to, there will be eye doctors and others because diabetes affects tons of other things. Imagine Phil's reaction if it starts affecting her feet and Kat gets a cut on them and doesn't notice because she lost feeling and has to have it amputated. Whether she's gone or not, pretending like their relationship isn't purely roommates or transactional is crazy. I listened to the tevin restreamer last night and I caught a part i did not before. DSP called everyone who he tried to invite pussy bitches. I think the main part of why he wanted a interview was to show the world he could "forgive" a detractor. Now, I don't think he would be so blatant by going "I forgive you king" but he would have hinted at it again and again, and the only reason he can "forgive" Metokur is because he is dying, so at some point he can't make fun of DSP anymore.

Another part is that he seem to really stress the fact that Metokur wanted a interview "for years" and really belives he is being good guy Burnell and grant this dying man this one final wish. A dying man who hated and hurt him for years (In DPS' mind) This further feeds his holier-than-thou ego by showing the world how nice and kind he is, that he is able to forgive Metokur of his most grievous sin: making fun of DSP.

The fact that it isn't happening is still a small win for DSP. He still gets to parade out the fact that he tried, and if only he had grown up sooner and the internet had seen him in a positive light earlier, he could have given Metokur that interview, but sigh, he was too late Nothing he could do, he tried his best.
