I find the talk of the Legislative branch being too powerful very odd. The history of the U.S. is the history of the Legislative branch losing and giving away power.

• Marbury v Madison usurped veto power to the Judicial over the Legislative (which it absolutely should not have).
• Hamilton and the Federalists pushed for a strong Executive.
• One of the first things Hamilton did was get the Legislative branch to create the Treasury Department under the Executive branch, with Hamilton as the head, of course.
• Then Hamilton pushed for a Central Bank to remove the Legislative's control of its finances even further.
• The Judiciary continually made tortured interpretations of the Constitution concentrating power into the Executive and itself. Or, weakening the Constitution itself.
• The political parties interceded themselves between citizen voters and the Legislative. Culminating in today, where only preselected candidates are viable.
• Lincoln acted as tyrant over the subjugation of the Legislative.
• Reconstruction disenfranchised the citizens of the U.S.
• The Progressive Era is well known as a time of strengthening the Presidency (beyond even Lincoln's power)
• The Federal Reserve functionally moved the most important power of the government (money creation and financial control) out of the government entirely.
• FDR and WWII solidified the Legislative as little more than a circus show.

Which leaves us today with a Legislative that does not represent the voice of American citizens, because the power of the citizens to choose their elected leaders has been subverted. And even if a voice of the citizens sneaks through, no power can be wielded.
This is mainly true when you conceive of congress and the legislative as according to it's role within an abstract civic model for a constitutional republic that has almost no reality to it.

Removing the influence of the voters over congress and congress delegating power to agencies doesn't actually weaken any of these institutions. It solidifies its power within an overarching administrative bureacratic state, and as an expression of lobbied interests, so that it can assume the powers of both the executive and the legislative. The voter has basically no control over most policy because congress has chosen to delegate its power to the executive. Likewise, the voter has no recourse against congress because the powers delegated by congress to regulatory agencies allows it to pedal influence to lobbyists who engineer elections to keep congress in power. And you can see this naked conspiring to form a merged administrative state through things like the Impoundment Act. Believing there is a "legislative'", as opposed to an "executive", and that if we only returned power to the legislative to restore checks and balances, things would be better, is a relic of an outdated understanding of how the institutions operate. You'll just reproduce the same system. All of this is in the interests of the people in the legislative.

The founding fathers tried to engineer a convoluted mess of a system which completely cannibalized itself. The American government hasn't operated according to how they thought it should when writing the constitution since very nearly the beginning.

Does Greenland have the usual Eurohypocrit "At least we're not American!" mentality, or are they just happy to have running water and bread?
Judging from articles from the last time Trump did something relating to this, they seem more focused on obtaining their own independence from Denmark sometime in the future. In a potential deal, besides maybe having to buy it from the Danes, the locals might want concessions such as subsidies, investments, immediate admission into the Union and cleaning up old military bases the USA had on the island.

The kings were not in power in at least the 2nd world war.
The only meaningful difference between a dictator and a king is a king wears a silly hat.

Elective governments as seen by the examples of Athens and Rome are not shy from waging war.

When waging offensive war, the Athenians and Republican Romans largely preferred to attack and conquer when they felt they'd be curbstomping a much weaker opponent, much like modern America, very different from the wars of mass conscription waged by European kings and dictators that left entire generations dead. The Second Pelopennesian War is an obvious exception, but it's also the war that broke Athenian democracy, and that's not really a coincidence.

Of course, the obvious fucking troon is wearing fetish heels and the shortest skirt, while all the actual females (as liberal harpies as they may be) are wearing much more modest choices.
So we ignoring the obese nigger with the flashy scarf?

its true, if we established a Monarchy in America we would be in a just as bad or worse situation, a King is only as powerful as the people directly below him will allow, you have to remember most of the issues the colonists had was not with the King but with Parliament, I mean you look at Britain today even and its basically become North Korea-lite at this point, its not a free speech society
A better solution would be for the King or Queen to be a dog that the president nominated after the last dog got too old. That dog would be trained to stamp official documents and letters written by its handlers (elected officials), and I'm sure the American people would accept Queen Otina Carlino-Mops Van Pugglesworth II

lmao this retard is accustomed to the Trump that cared about re-election. Now that he has been officially re-elected why should he care if he does Granada 2.0 Panama Boogaloo? Kinzinger is such a pussy I bet as soon as the election results trickled in he was trying to call in a pardon from Joe.

This motherfucker is going to annex Canada and Panama because there's fuck all anyone can do to stop him.

His second term is going to be entirely based on "what are you going to do about it, faggot?"

I'm so happy to be here to watch this utter fucking insanity unfold.

Beyond the horrible humiliation, Kamala comitted the worst sin possible: misleading the donors. She has no future because the DNC only cares about the donors and they're not happy with her.
I think it's going to be interesting to see if they ever trust her again, and give her a chance with governor of California. They have to realise she's at her very core a whore, and you can get mad at a whore for wasting the money you give her. She will mostly do what she's told because, well, she's a whore.

Honestly, all of this is pretty reasonable to do and the only one that is more or less infeasable would be the immediate admission into the Union.

Pelosi a few months ago was saying Joe was worthy of being on Mt Rushmore, even though she had a strong hand in taking him down. Harris and Walz are getting some token thanks, but they'll be done too. Those idiots blew it so hard, it's insane to think they'll be in any major politics again. Harris especially looks worse and drunker than ever in the few times she's been seen.

Only a troon can commit fashion crimes so egregious even straight guys notice.
Troons are so insecure with what they have between their legs versus what their mental illness tells them they end up overcompensating.
Because its all "look at me".
Troons both want attention, and also are men so they cannot understand why women dress the way they do, other than overly sexualized caricatures of women.

At least the pooners and embies I can understand why they'd want to wear baggie pants.

You wouldn't be saying that if Biden was king
Imagine Crown Prince Hunter lmao

Everything works until it doesn’t. I don’t really disagree, but that’s not a very effective way to get your point across.
You're not wrong. It's just that the problem is complex. The government is often called 3 branches, but there are so many cogs in those branches that keep it running that makes looking at it mind numbing.

A king really wouldn't simplify any of that complexity. More like the cogs around him would find ways to attach and mesh. You would end up with a powerful executive. It does not mean the deep state goes away. It would use the King to its own ends.

Imagine Crown Prince Hunter lmao
My point exactly

I'm not sure people get the reasons behind that go far beyond any sort of cowardice on his part. He's a downlow faggot that got outed for being on grindr.

Him (and his wife) have both turned off replies since these were dropped back in august.

President Donald J. Trump - AmericaFest 2024.png
Trump Speech at AmericaFest 2024

This weekend there were speeches by the MAGA wing of the Republican Party at Turning Point USA's AmericaFest. The finale was of course Trump.

I linked this X.com version because it has Trump doing his goofy dances to YMCA at the end, and the PBS video on Youtube had shitty audio (probably on purpose).

I'll probably go watch some other speakers. I heard Tucker was spicier than usual.

The White House released these pictures of the staff for '24. I'm not going to mock the little Shriner's hospital kid guy but I see at least two trannies, and it's emblematic of modern liberalism how Joepedo is off to the side in this photo and Shaniqua is the focal point. It's also a failing of presentation standards how these zoomers can't even dress appropriately and have suits and clothes that fit. Whatever happened to men learning you need to have at least one good suit?
"imagine the smell"

I'm just saying I would prefer a benevolent king than "voting" for someone who is going to treat me like shit and be a king in all but name anyway.
that's why you go with a kaiser. make pickelhauben great again!

that's not an indictment of the Found Fathers, multinational megacorps and lobbying didn't really exist in their time and so it made sense, but I think what we have found out over the past century or so is that 435+100 greedy retards are just as bad as having 1 greedy retard make all the laws, hell Washington gave up political powers and went back to his farm after his Presidency ended, its unfourtnate that Congress is not held to the same standard
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the Boston Tea Party the result of the British government favoring the East India Trading Company?
