I guess just to provide an update on Derish (I never really followed him that much in the time I followed DSP). In the time since Kino Casino pressured DSP to ban Derish, the Kino Casino itself has had a bit of a drama.

Now someone has done a deep dive on the fans that the Kino Casino guys have, and Derish is being brought up as an example of why they must ban users (who are supposedly not only simps but also paypigs) from their own community who are degenerates (sharing loli and a whole bunch of stuff:

During the DSP interview the KC spent some time righteously felting DSP on his persistent pedoshielding of Derich, a porn obsessed paypig that was caught having playlists of children on his youtube account. DSP constantly held out defense for Derich, ignoring all the evidence relating to him for the sake of superberries. The KC would end up getting DSP to finally banish Derich to the shadowrealm, but unfortunately for the 700lbs ppporker and the stuttering r-r-retard this "victory" will now come back to haunt them. Lets just say they aren't exactly living up to their own standards.

Here are some key questions we need to ask the KC (Or their jannies) by the end of this post.

In terms of Derish himself. I just glanced through his tweeter account. It still has an age/adult warning on tweeter and he is still replying to dozens of adult/porn tweets per day. Doesn't look like he has skipped a beat since being banned from DSP's streams and I'm not aware of Derish making any sort of statement/reaction about being banned still.

When Phil gets in a relationship with Panda, he dumps AL. The breakup video AL made should send up a lot of red flags. It seriously sounds like they were more than just occasional acquaintances. AL was heartbroken that Phil chose to hang with Leanna over him.

Online creators are getting called out left and right for grooming underage kids over discord. Phil took a kid to his hotel room at a convention.

There's no proof that anything inappropriate happened, but there are a lot of weird things AL has said about him and Phil's relationship.

I assume this is about KC and this controversy about them shielding a Derich-like viewer, which I have not read all of. However that's just them being dumb and not applying their own standards to themselves, they would have done this regardless of DSP.

So I kind of agree with UncleTusky, and I also don't think he's the cause of misfortune, he just attracts that kind, specially when the content revolves purely around drama. If they're already good folks, there should be no problem.

• DSP has like 10 "real" fans. Derish is persistent and very widely known. There's a dedicated KF thread to him with 184 pages and a tweeter account that does nothing but follow his online antics and has 2000 followers. As creepy as Derish's behavior may be: he is legitimatelya low-functioning autistic and types in chat like a bot. There is some credence to the argument that DSP only kept him around to be nice to him. Given Derish never financially supported DSP (except for stealing mom's credit card years ago for a few dollars) it also means that DSP doesn't financially benefit from Derish.

• Kino Casino seems to have thousands (or even tens of thousands) of fans. It makes it a lot more reasonable that they wouldn't know about what their fans do - but they're also getting financial support from some of these fans. Even if someone finds a few of them through investigating and posts about them on KF, that doesn't mean they know about that person or what they do - certainly none of them would be on the level of attention that Derish has recieved.

So I don't know how I feel about it, but I do feel like the khantext is important - Kino Casino and DSP are very different things and their fanbases are also very different (but there are some similarities). DSP being put on the spot about Derish mainly happened because Derish had been around for like seven or eight years and his off-stream antics had recieved so much attention that he had become a fully fleged meme and topic of conversation himself. The problematic KC fans seem to have tweeter accounts with like 20 followers and aren't as famous as our boy Derish is (they can only dream).

I just don't buy that DSP is a predator in that way. Sure that kind of thing may have some flags of being inappropriate but just look at the way DSP fell apart the moment Leanna left. The guy can't even run his own life and can't even leave his house - it'd be like if a NEET riddled with social anxiety who leaves the house once a month became a sexual predator. I remember this user in old DSP chat, coincidentally, I recently posted the old OverRustleLogs archive where we can find that user (assuming it's the same as the one you're referring to, presumably YouTube), and their other alias.

I recall this one being a regular back then on Twitch, and the size of their chatlogs is that of a regular.

The other alias also has a decent file size, and they claim they were the comrade.
