Personally, anyone expecting actual UFO/Alien Disclosure from the Government is barking up the wrong tree. Why would the institution that has, by all accounts, tried to suppress this shit through every method in the book for the past 70+ years suddenly now decide to start talking because some Representatives on a Committee ask questions? Maybe I'm a pessimist, but the only way we're getting disclosure is the "catastrophic" method, which is that Spock lands at Bozeman.

there is no scenario i can see where if something advanced dropped from the sky, the military would disclose it to anyone
