I like Cerny, he's a freaking genius and we need more like him in the industry. His ideas and contributions to gaming are vast and underappreciated.
I can't shake the feeling that someone, probably Hulst, kneecapped the PS5PRO because of how little of a jump it is.
Cerny usually makes a noticable upgrade, without the need to patches and always ensures the new consoles - be it Pro or new gen, reduce the workload for the dev, not increase it.
It just feels like the Pro is 25% what Cerny wanted.

Naughty Dog hasn't made a worthwhile game since Jak 3. Why do people love this wannabe movie studio so much? Heard Jak X was good, but never played it because I've never cared for racing games.

Slightly off topic (but to prove a point), I recently watched a video about Super Metroid where someone said the game was over rated because the movement and music weren't as good as later entries.
No fucking shit. You're comparing a game that came out 30 years ago and defined a genre to stuff that came out decades after it released. Of course the "music isn't good", the game was running off a 16 bit sound card, you fucking knob.

I mean Druckmann has a gargantuan ego, I guarantee he encouraged the cringeworthy stuff Tati has been posting or saying. He even admitted IIRC (please correct me if I'm wrong) that he purposefully made sure there was a shot of the character in Intergalactic shaving her head off because he knew it would be controversial.
He's probably one of the most egotistical devs in recent memory, and thinks of himself as an auteur because game critics liked his generic zombie apocalypse story. Look at the Christmas card posted by Naughty Dog where he only included the games he made.
Because with The Last of Us, it was "baby's first movie game" since games had great stories, but The Last of Us was just a movie which made game critics think that it pushed new ground. Even though the game's story is just a generic older paternal figure taking care of younger child in the apocalypse. It didn't help the game came out in the height of the Zombie pop culture craze where The Walking Dead and Attack on Titan both became mega popular in America.
