They are worse than toozer mods because at least those mods have cool looking teasers and focus trees. Best TNO can come up with is the "Uruguayan fish import mechanic" coming 2026.I feel TNO is worse than a teaser mod
Are we close to seeing a return of old TNO?The New Yandresim: Last Days of Development

Yes and no. The mod's more or less functional but I still have to sweep up a lot of weird bugs and crashes. To give you a taste, ideas are invisible and the army leader menu crashes the game if you scroll too fast. Still need to resolve the stupid nudge errors as well. Are we close to seeing a return of old TNO?
What's the point of Antartica and why is every country scrambling for it? IRL Cold War didn't have this autistic hyperfixation so I wonder what value it has to the TNO Cold War. I haven't really read up on the lore for ODF tho.Did anyone manage to win as Neuschwabenland? I helped Speer win the civil war, but the game ignored it and still acted as if the civil war was ongoing until Neuschwabenland collapsed.
Also, the Antarctica content is good, even if the ending appears somewhat bugged. That 2 years feels like 10 in some other tags.

The treaty that demilitarized Antarctica in real life wasn't signed in TNO's world. Resulting in that even the Penguin continent being a protentional battlefield.why is every country scrambling for it? There's even a whole ass video about itWhat's the point of Antartica and why is every country scrambling for it? IRL Cold War didn't have this autistic hyperfixation so I wonder what value it has to the TNO Cold War. I haven't really read up on the lore for ODF tho.
OTL, there was such a thing as a functioning international order that was able to bring itself together to agree not to touch the potentially bountiful resources found in Antarctica. This is not the case in TNO, where two sides of the three in the cold war are hell-bent on having their master race conquer the world. What's the point of Antartica and why is every country scrambling for it? It takes a special level of retardation to come up with this idea while removing things in the name of realism.in an attemp to colonize the continent
You have truly done us a favor, comrade. Seriously, I'd give you a tip for this, because you've done more in a few weeks than the fuckin' entire TNO dev team has done in 4 damn years, and for free in your own spare time.Yes and no. After the Christmas holidays I might just go ahead and make the git public, bugs and all. It still needs some work, but I'm happy with the progress I've made. When I started, the game would crash before even generating an error log.
There are two seperate treaties, the one dealing with preventing military conflict and the other preventing resource exploitation with the latter only starting negotiations in the 80sOTL, there was such a thing as a functioning international order that was able to bring itself together to agree not to touch the potentially bountiful resources found in Antarctica. Paradox does allow their modders to open patreons now.You have truly done us a favor, comrade. Seriously, I'd give you a tip for this, because you've done more in a few weeks than the fuckin' entire TNO dev team has done in 4 damn years, and for free in your own spare time.
Don't even know what became of the British content. Around December and January of last year they teased The Fallen Lion, bragging about new fascist collab England and the HIMMLR coming soon. Well its been a year. What the fuck happened to it? Is the British team just that lazy? It's worse, actually. A lot of this was playable on the Steam Workshop since years back. They're just integrating a submod. So the entire update is, in fact, a map update, unplayable India content, and Moskowien's civil war being cut. Oh, and Fiji was added.
With this in mind, I think you owe Yandere dev an apology.![]()
The devs just completely vanished on their discord server after they were integrated into the base mod.Don't even know what became of the British content. The old British setup is much more interesting. Yeah, it makes no sense whatsoever and it's full of anachronisms, but I'll take the cheesy ideas of Maggy Thatcher's unchained authoritarian wrath on miners, Cromwellian Stirling or the British version of Yugoslav wars over "plausible British fascism".The devs just completely vanished on their discord server after they were integrated into the base mod.
It was gonna happen eventually, as what the TNO devs' wanted for Russia post-2WRW was almost oppossed to what the 2WRW submod presented. Still good for them and hopefully they are able to make all the changes they want, they clearly care more about war than the TNO devs and they also have past experience working with other dev teams as well, so they can get some outside helpTNO: 2WRW is making moves to become its own independent mod.
