It is very obvious profit is not the sole goal of corporations. They wouldn't be making nonstop media flops (tv, movies, games). They wouldn't be hiring legions of useless bullshit job positions. They wouldn't be ruining every brand name.

If profit was actually their motive, they would be making things people actually want. Think of any product or service category. What is the corporate oligarchy of that category doing?
