Wrestling YouTuber, Brian Zane, doesn't know how to count years.

Earlier today, after having a fight with people on twitter and coming up with the reason why people don't like him, Brian Zane said it's because he doesn't suck off Triple H.

Nobody gets to talk to Brian Zane like that. So desperate was Brian trying to get a clapback against this troll (his name is Baiter, by the way? Tells you all you need to know) that he decided to say this to own this guy.

The tweet in question is this Baiter guy tweeted about was CM Punks tenure in AEW, which lasted from August 2021 to September 2023, which would indicate that he stayed around for 2 years. Brian Zane was too assmad to understand, so he got in this autistic slapfight that makes you think "how the fuck did this guy handle paying his rent?"

It's legit the yoga itself is just basic bitch flexibility stuff but getting on a schedule of super positive Dallas workouts and a meal plan will equal results. I would compare it to a modern day sweating to the oldies by Richard Simmons except catering to broken wrestlers instead of broken senior citizens.

And he has just started to work with Lex in his chair it will be interesting to see how much progress he can make.

Oh yeah. Its sort of like comparing the success results between going to AA meetings (trying to do yoga on the side) and doing a full series of stints in detox, rehab, and then a sober living facility.

The folks DDP videos are showing are getting mapped out, low intensity (initially) exercise daily with quality trainers, full meal plans, talk therapy, and isolated from bad influences/triggers by literally living there.

Screw being able to afford it, I don't think any of us could take the time away from work.

All that said, it's still freaking impressive and it's better than going the pharma route.

I think it was Bret Hart that used to shit on DDP as being a wrestler that had to map out his entire matches all the time. Never understood why that was supposedly such a bad thing, especially considering DDP mostly worked the undercard to get guys over (until his push at the end of WCW).

God, could you imagine if Bret Hart tried to make his own version of DDP yoga?

Theres' a lot to unpack here about what happened. As someone who watches this guy for white noise while I do my chores, I can give a little bit of context on why he's acting this way.

I think maybe he's putting out this tweet because of his last video of the worst moments of Wrestling in 2024. In which he throws shit to WWE for the sex scandal (and rightfully so), while downplaying AEW's failures the All In footage was on number seven, for god's sake. And also trying to shift the blame of Chris Jericho being a cancer to the product to the fans for not liking it. (And of course, not mentioning at all Chris Jericho's own sexual harassment allegations.)

Brian is ungodly biased towards AEW because just like that mark Dave Meltzer, they desperately want AEW to be good, and just like Meltzer, he square off with small Twitter accounts because he thinks they're in their right and nobody should question him or you're a hateful troll otherwise. This is just shameful of him.

I'm kind of glad now that Jim Cornette decided to cut ties with him.

the amount of anger from AEW Smarks when AEW is criticized even slightly is honestly a sight to see, WWE fans generally speaking are far more willing to criticize WWE when there's something they particularly dislike about a segment or match, the main reason you don't see it as much lately is because theres less bad stuff on WWE this year. Bret and DDP both really enjoyed working with each other and have been complimentary towards each other. Bret did a lot of the same pre-planning as well, too.

E: Also, Zane is such an insufferable cunt. Dude spent years running down Hogan, Nash, Triple H, and other guys who don't fit the approved workrate metrics and now starts crying because the chickens are coming home to roost. "Why can't we just enjoy wrestling a boo boo boo?"

I also wouldn't really consider Triple H a GOAT performer. Guys like Foley, Austin and Angle basically sacrificed a ton to build him up. He was good, but ironically was the B+ kind of guy he described Daniel Bryan as, IMO. He tended to flounder when he was the best guy in the ring and didn't have Shawn/Angle/Benoit/Booker/etc holding his ass up.

I don't hate him, and I think the dude has an incredible love/appreciation/understanding of the sport, but I don't rate him alongside guys like Eddie, Shawn, Bret, Rock, Austin, etc.

It's hard to follow through and document what exactly is happening because he keeps sending his followers and replying to different things to a point I don't know where to start. But what piqued my interest was when this dude he was arguing with said something along the lines of Zane having 'low IQ followers'.
