I think in Rudy's case, he probably was severely depressed with PTSD, etc, and turned to knowledge and books to figure a way out, he discovered and researched psychedelics, which started small but combined with prodromal schizophrenia giving him a feeling of grandiosity, leading him to spiral into taking even larger amounts of psychedelics and other drugs like kratom. Now he is having his mental break, which has probably been going on for months, and will likely end with him being hospitalized. Sad.
 
I watched the three hour season 2 interview out of professional fascination for his trauma story. I have alot of sympathy for him considering his past but he's clearly developed a kind of complex from it, that along with drug use is giga-frying his brain and I seriously hope he gets on medication before he does something extreme.

Though honestly, the cult thing seems to be the shark jumping moment to me and unless someone involved in the organisation can convince Rudyard to get off drugs and to get medicated I seriously don't think this is going to end well.

I can't blame the man for not trusting social workers considering his upbringing and their failure to safeguard him, at the moment I see no reason to doubt his claims about his mother and they serve as a pretty reasonable explanation for where this comes from.

He may have been aware of the thread due to some of his tweets strangely referencing some of the posts here but if he didn't he does now. All I have to say is Rudy won't be the first to try to take down the Farms and won't be the last.

I think this is a combination of mental illness and corporate/NGO Silicon Valley brainwashing.
It’s entirely possible he WAS recruited and groomed by some think tank in Silicon Valley, as his Twitter account had some hugely popular ”Musk approved” posts and content. Musk has put money towards other influencers on his platform. A lot of these dude bros are obsessed with “abuse from mother” narratives, particularly obsessed with Jung archetypes, etc.
Perhaps Rudy went psychotic from all of it, especially with hallucinogens involved.
 
There are no incel shamans, just volcel. It's highly unlikely he is the first. Rudy, like many autists (myself included) tried to learn millennia of knowledge and wisdom and "do everything" (he is clearly proud of his hike and his seekrit club as he brings them up constantly) in the span of a few years. There are realizations that take a long time to stick. There are thoughts and meditations that are worth going over many times before moving on. The rush to learn the next new thing can keep you from building an identity. He should let the chaff shake out first before he attempts to write the Historia naturalis.
