Culture Study: Turns out gender dysphoria isn't a thing, but autism is - Rat King subforum to be presented as evidence

Dr. Kenneth Zucker, a psychologist with 30 years of experience running the largest Canadian childhood gender clinic, believes that transgender children may actually just be suffering from autism.

The psychologist says that a child suffering from gender dysphoria, or transgenderism, may be wrongly convincing themselves that they are their opposite biological gender due to fixation—a common quality associated with autism—on their gender.

"It is possible that kids who have a tendency to get obsessed or fixated on something may latch on to gender,” says Zucker. “Just because kids are saying something doesn't necessarily mean you accept it, or that it's true, or that it could be in the best interests of the child.”

Zucker has also linked the high association of trans children who suffer from autism to support his claim.

“Latest figures show that the number of children under 10 in Britain being referred to the NHS over transgender feelings has quadrupled in five years,” notes The Telegraph. Zucker claims such children are “seven times more likely to be on the autistic spectrum.”

The psychologist makes his controversial claim on the BBC 2 documentary Transgender Kids: Who Knows Best?, set to air on Thursday night. The film examines opposing viewpoints surrounding gender dysphoria in children, a disorder growing at an alarming rate. The documentary has received blow-back from ardent transgender activists who want to ban the film from airing until it is reviewed by “experts;” a Change.org petition has been created, garnering over 10,000 signatures advocating for the censorship.

Besides linking autism to gender dysphoria, Zucker has been critical of the idea that we must appease the illness and allow children to “transition” to their opposite sex. In fact, the psychologist claims he was booted from the children’s trans clinic in Toronto for voicing such a dissenting view.

As reported at The Daily Wire this month, the American College of Pediatricians has estimated that 75-95 percent of children with gender dysphoria grow out of such sexual confusion before adulthood. This reinforces the notion that allowing children to "transition" at a young age could do far more harm than good.

Transgender activist and Mermaids Chief Executive Susie Green thinks Zucker’s view and the BBC 2 documentary in totality are moving transgenderism “backwards.”

“We are trying to move away from the perception of it being perceived as a psychological ailment, and this just goes backwards," Green told The Guardian.

“We’ve had real concern that this is going to cause them to be targeted, because it supports this idea of trans children being mentally disturbed or that they can be cured. Parents are very afraid,” she added.

In response to criticism, the BBC 2 has defended the documentary, releasing the following statement:

“With a rise in the number of children being referred to gender clinics, this programme sensitively presents different views from experts and parents on gender dysphoria in children.

For more than 30 years Dr Kenneth Zucker ran Canada’s biggest child gender clinic and was considered a recognised authority on childhood gender dysphoria until he lost his job. He believes he was fired for challenging the gender affirmative approach.

This documentary examines Zucker’s methods, but it also includes significant contributions from his critics and supporters of gender affirmation, including transgender activists in Canada and leading medical experts as well as parents with differing experiences of gender dysphoria and gender reassignment.”

First of all, a mental problem? reeeeEEEEEEEEE

Secondly, it's almost like this guy with 30 years experience didn't just wake up one morning deciding to troll troons and came to a difficult decision based on said three decades of experience.
Yes, life is not black and white, just because he did some terrible things does not mean he is not telling the truth. It just means he has more tranny ogres to overcome before he can ship it out to the rest of the world.

I would not be surprised if most autistic troons decided to switch around puberty because that was the age they started to fixate on the opposite sex. Or more specifically aspects of the opposite sex.
Naturally their autistic brains misinterpreted normal sexual arousal, and translated their fixations and inability to get a date to a desire to be that date.
There's also suggestion, when you have some hippie dipshit narcissistic mother in your ear, telling you that your behavior is only okay for girls, and that you'll be rewarded for chopping off your growths, you're going to drink the kool-aid. Occam's Razor: What's more likely, an autistic man that can't even wipe his ass understanding and having a female soul, or just an autistic man with autism exploiting flaws in social trends?

The "I have a female soul" has been debunked as well, and autistic people seem to use this in a stereotypical way, as if their "female soul" is real and concrete.

Been saying that since 2011.

My theory that 9 out of 10 "gender-cosplaying" have some form of autism and/or personality disorder rings true. The other 1 out of 10 are the unfortunate souls with fucked up hormone balances and/or being born intersex.

There should be a way of not just bullying the fuck out of those 1 out of 10 by default.

Because the current "method" if you can even call it a "method" is just to mock the fuck out of them.

And considering it's 90% accurate, why isn't this ok anyway?

Rationalization: suppose something helps most of the population and you apply it to everyone. 90% are helped immensely. Great! Suppose the other 10% get fucked to some degree.

Who cares?

Not all autistics are trannies but all trannies are autistic? It's so simple it's genius. Like the Theory of Relativity, but for freak shows.

Well, I don't know many (any?) trans people in real life, so I can't really say either. There are a number of autism-related conditions that are not actually on the spectrum (pragmatic communication disorder, for one), but again, don't know enough to make that call or not.

Either way, this works for almost 99% of every "trans" person followed by KF, and most of them have admitted it. CWC, Phil, Richard Jones, Jordman, and pretty much everyone on the Rat King subforum that don't claim to TG. I don't know about Brianna Wu. It's possible.
I don't think Wu has autism, I think he's a narcissist with bpd. It's hard to say if he's a trender I think, because who the fuck knows what's going on in that head. My gut says yes, but he seems like the kind of person who, if he was, would bitch about trenders in an attempt to troll shield.

I've got no issues with adults who decide to transition. I personally believe adults should be allowed to do whatever they want as long as it doesn't hurt other people. I've got a couple of trans friends who are awesome people and pretty much normal in every way.

But allowing kids to transition just seems wrong to me. Something like this is a HUGE decision and completely life altering. I remember being a kid and I know what kids are like because I'm a parent. This kind of change requires a lot of soul searching and consideration of the consequences, and children aren't capable of that. It isn't something that should be entered into lightly and it isn't something a loving parent should entertain, especially with younger children.

I'm not saying a parent shouldn't support their adult child if after years they decided that transitioning is what's best for them. But I think until they become adults, parents should not accommodate children who show interest in transitioning. Especially if that child has a condition like Autism or anything else that would affect their ability to make rational and objective decisions.

Saying that this is harmful to gay kids specifically because effeminate boys normally grow up to be gay is disingenuous. The majority of girls who play with trucks and not dolls grow up to be heterosexual women and not lesbians, but this being true is more readily accepted for some reason.

A significantly larger proportion of girly compared to masculine boys become gay, probably, but most people are straight. Liking some things the opposite sex likes most of the time means nothing at all.

The skewed sex ratios of both autism and trannyism do lend some credence to this idea. Autists are normally males. MtF outnumber FtM by 200% on the low end of estimates and 500% on the high end.

The only reason that trannies get any attention is because some are really hot (until their dicks stop working) and they are lumped in with fags. Fags are also a male dominated industry. Lots more homos than cute lesbian souls.

I know one person isn't representative of a group etc., but the one FTM I do know was also legit diagnosed with Asperger's. I look at that m2m topic in our tumblr forum and she could be any one of them, right up to the danger hair and being a SJW.

It's one thing to say that maybe autism affects the ability to express or even have gender normativity to some extent - I could see people trying to make this argument - but it boggles my mind how the overall response seems to be "REEEE trans people are otherwise normal and this guy's a shitlord" and ignoring the facts completely.
