This feature doesn't seem to work on potplayer any more, even though it can see opensubtitles as a source. I'll try VLC. Plex can usually auto find subs for me as well
Go into view, and scroll down to VLSub. It will give you 2 ways to looks up the subs. Be prepared to download/delete a few, until you find one that works.

Thanks brother.

When I try and find any leads or discussion of where to find these, it's just faggots saying "Sorry we can't discuss that here. We're to scared of some corporate chinks shutting down our discussion"

You can try nswgame.com and if you just use the 1fichier links you should be free of internet aids. Lots of other modern consoles there too, but some of the other download sources they give that aren't 1fichier trigger my AV.

Funnily the subtitle sites sometimes seem to trigger my AV when I try to auto download.

Yeah 1fichier and MegaUp seem to be the ones that don't cause the AIDS alarms to go off

Hello,
I see a few of you guys have been around for a long time and was wondering at any point has anyone found any classical sheet music in general? (Websites, files, etc) I have found a very small amount of works that aren't public domain copies online.
I appreciate the effort and expertise you guys bring. = )

Here is some

Also here is a list with more sites

Hope that helps.

Emby has built in opensubtitles search. you don't even have to pause the episode you can do a search within the closed captions menu. Other plugins may support other sites idk.

I still find it hard to find them for really old shows like The French Chef or I Love Lucy

My only gripe with these sites using 1fichier for links is when some games are segmented into multiple download files, or there's multiple DLC files to download and 1fichier has a timed download limit. Even using a VPN it's tricky to find one that hasn't already exhausted the download limit. The site has been reliable for me in the past for sure but I've ran into the time restriction page so many times while using it.

Funny story about that but no links.
One of the late 90s sites was online guitar archive (Olga) for tablatures.
Rumour at the time was that Lars Ulrich from Metallica had it taken down.
About a decade ago the link showed a video of orthodox Jews dancing. I didn't make the link back then and there is a gap on the way back machine for when that was up.

There used to be a 1Fichier Download Manager, but IDK if it works anymore. I've heard there's a way through jdownloader tho.

The closest I've come to this, though it ended up not happening, was borrowing an old book on Internet Archive with their borrow function and then screencap every page. That would've been tedious to figure out, but I ended up finding the book on Anna's Archive, so moot point.
There is an extension just for ripping books off of Internet Archive, btw. The downloadable pdf files are not searchable by default, but you can do that in ABBYY or a similar program.

Wanted to personally say THANK YOU for bringing attention to this. Anna's Archive seems to have a lot of quick and dirty rips for Internet Archive-exclusive books that absolutely murdered the quality of picture-heavy stuff like old game guides and cookbooks. This is so much less tedious than copying images from my cache, thanks.
