Piracy General

Funny story about that but no links.
One of the late 90s sites was online guitar archive (Olga) for tablatures.
Rumour at the time was that Lars Ulrich from Metallica had it taken down.
About a decade ago the link showed a video of orthodox Jews dancing. I didn't make the link back then and there is a gap on the way back machine for when that was up.
I still have my binders full of printed out tabs thanks to the school library. Lars was right in a way about piracy killing music ( I've been sailing the seas sing bearshare) but in the end the whole spotify system was inevitable. The minute we could share music on youtube, it was game over. The upside is there's so much good music and wild genres.

Anyone have any tips locating car service manuals I'm trying to find wiring diagrams. Tried yandex but I only get copies in russian or just the owner manual.

Like a pdf of a Haynes manual? What kind of car is it?

Ya, anything like that or anything similar really, it's a bit of a weird thing so I'm having trouble narrowing it down. I just don't want to waste money on a paid copy then find out it doesn't have the information I need in it or it's useless.

It's for a 3rd gen Volvo XC70, there's some minor electrical fault for a system I'm probably never going to use but it's pissing me off that I cant narrow down the source because I've brought everything else up to perfect condition.

Are the Volvo forums also turning up nothing? Usually the forums tend to have all sorts of user curated information.

Try seacrhing for "Wiring Diagrams" rather than manual and you may get what you need .Even if its only a few diagrams

Ya, that's it, thank you. That Procarmanuals site seems to have everything else too.

I think I'm losing my mind. I remember there being some webpage in all black with a panda mascot on it that let you download videos, audio, and other stuff if you just copy-pasted into it. I found it at like 2am when I was scrolling through what I thought was this thread, but I've spent the last few days searching this entire thread only to turn up nothing. Have I just missed something? Was that some kind of late-night hallucination? Please help lol.

Is it this? This is the only thing your post reminds me of.

How do you guys backup websites?

I came across the File Hosting Wiki while reading the Awesome Piracy Repository and apparently it'll eventually be closed and deleted. Is there a better way to backup the site other than taking a bunch of screenshots?
I've only used it a couple times, but I had good luck using HTTrack to back up some blogs I like. It can be a little fiddly, so be sure to reference the manual.

Is there something like a 1tb torrent of all the best songs from every genre?
A bit late but not really, although every individual genre will have a sizable compilation of some sorts on rutracker. One of my first stops whenever checking out a new genre is by doing a blank search with that tag and sorting by size.
