What do you mean? The faulty planes were the updated versions of the 737... they cut corners on the refitting and pilot training because of the amount of orders they got.

No. Just stop. It was not an "update" to the design. Boeing went ahead and slapped larger, heavier engines to a scaled up wing and fuselage and did zero work to the control systems without considering the handling changes to the aircraft. When the handling was found unsafe, they took the cheap solution of letting the computer figure it out and never briefed the FAA or pilots about the changes.

The biggest problem with the catastrophic failures were the lack of flight simulator hours with the new MCAS of the airline pilots. The door bolting issue was embarrassing but it didnt threaten airworthiness.

Yeah, they added the MCAS which would solve the stability problem of the new model and navigability in general. They cut corners on pilot training indeed.

It obviously wasn´t any shitskin fault anyways...

EDit: it obviously threaten airworthiness, it just doesnt make the plane to crash but it shouldn´t fly with loose bolts.

The correct answer: The MCAS used the pitot data to calculate AoA independently of the pilot input. That's the mismatch the MCAS used to override the pilot.

Yes, lack of training pilots, even letting them know of the new MCAS system with the Indonesian and Ethiopian air crashes that Boeing tried to hide, but a House investigation committee hearing with the Boeing CEO threw that out in the open.

Then there's the fucking doors flying off, tires bursting into flames upon landing, minor shit that might not cause deadly crashes, but still shit that's cutting corners. This is seen as companies get bigger, but Boeing was so negligent, and at the same time, blatantly didn't give a fuck until they got caught.

They later decided to add a redundant AoA sensor (it was optional before but both air companies decided not to include it) because they commonly fail and shit companies like Lion Air don´t do their maintenance but the MCAS starts to act after 3 checks: AoA, flaps and autopilot. It was dangerous but it could be controlled, it shouldn´t down the plane if the pilots had the proper training.
To illustrate that point, the previous Indonesian crew that flew the same plane and had the same problem was able to correct it and land safely in Jakarta.

It´s an OK movie with some good acting but it´s 90s non-conformism (adult this time) which is my most hated genre of pics. It´s quite a bizarre take tho, since the neighbor giving in to his impulses is exactly what leads to his downfall and Spacey´s death. Every other character controlled their impulses of wanting to murder Spacey - the wife, the daughter and her boyfriend.
About the Mena Suvari thing, it´s even grosser to discuss the morality of lusting for her because we as the viewer have all the background she gave till the virgin revelation, that she was wanted and abused since her early age (played by her as sexual experience), even with some - I think - sincere moments talking about how older men looked at her.
But then again it comes from the mind that thinks Cabin in the Woods is about true horror... the funniest thing on that clip is he mocking the rubes that think the movie was fun because the tweaker killed zombies or something while he is completely off the mark.
