Palworld - Everything you have ever wanted from a Pokemon game

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I am very greatful for the quadruple resource drop rate on the server. This new metal is such tedious ass to make, and at regular drop rates, it'll take you fuckin' forever just to get 50. Slowly but surely taking out these annoying fuckin missle platforms that wont let me fly. I have a feeling they respawn after a while though.

Also the Lazer Sword is a let down. Works nothing like the regular sword. You do a forward moving slash attack that you are locked into that takes way too long to perform and does too little damage to be worth a damn. Unless you want a really tedious challenge to beat bosses with, avoid it.

There are two users who seem to be having issues connecting to the server. It states they are connecting, but never joining. If that's you please reach out. One of them has been trying to join for the past three days multiple times.

For Kiwi server players:
Since we can do vendor stalls now an item mall has been established at cords (-557,11) which is one of the starter islands
Primary currency is dog coins but theres many stalls with various trades
For people who don't want to setup an oil base, this is a pretty viable option. Thanks for setting it up.

I was not one of those two people, but I did just try to log into the server and have reached an infinite loading screen.

Man, when I read that they "doubled the landmass" I was hoping for more than this.

I spent 1 hour scouting the NW and SE corners hoping to find trace of any land, to no avail.
Does the landmass look like a hand tossing a Pal sphere that's bursting open to anyone else?

In my oppinion it's all-right. Espechially since you have to initially explore from the ground, since it's polluted by the SAM facilities as if it is a mirror match in Red Alert 2.

By the way, anybody tried the new helicopter boss on the new oil rig? Heard it is incredibly fat.

Not an issue for me. I ditched flying mounts ages ago in favor of grapple boosting + Hangyu. It's only later that I realized these SAMs were only designed to fire at flying targets, because they were dormant every time I approached one of their camps.

While this wont be relevant for Hangyu in particular, the new jump boots have made some changes to the jump/glide mechanics I dont think is intentional. If you jump again on the frame you land while gliding you will retain forward momentum up until you forcibly slow yourself in your next glide, land, or run into something. For most of the gliders this is pretty useless, as they're too slow for it to be useful, but a 4 star Celaray with full movement speed passives can make use of it. I dont know the exact speed but its at least over the 100 of the Hyper glider. There also exists 2 debug gliders that really make this mechanic shine both with 300 speed. You can easily outpace a Frostallion and damn near match a Jetragon with them especially if you can do the momentum carry consistently.

Speaking of I have many debug items on the Kiwi Server that I stashed away while I could make use of there being no real anticheat available (officially or modded). They are no longer obtainable without admin privledges + mods, so they are now true 'rares' on the server. Most of these items are useless materials or accessories that went unused or got 'fixed' and turned into something else in updates. The laser rifle was in the code before Bellanoir and had 10k attack at the time and was amazing, but all the ones from before just turned to common ones with 1000 attack upon release for example. Currently only 2 of these items have any real advantage over anything else available in the game those being the afformentioned gliders. Some of these debug items as well as a total of 5 debug gliders are currently available at my mall. The gliders have a bit of a steep price, but they're well worth the asking price and I also priced them in a way to make obtaining one a bit of an achievement or fairly decent grind. The lesser debug/unobtainables are going for more reasonable trades as they have no real value beyond collection. There is also much more available at the Mall. I try to have as much variety as I can, but space and 5 slots per stall can be limiting.

At this point I have beat 3/5 of the new bosses. I don't really see Bounties, Alphas and Carnage Pals as "bosses", they're more like mini bosses. The remaining 2 are Ultra Xenolord (I'ma be real, I don't think thats happening solo until the next update) and Hard Mode Bjorn.

Normal Bjorn was nothing special. I went at him with the exact same setup I already had for Hard Saya last patch. Took a bit of effort, but got him first try. If you go at him with a Ragnahawk as a mount, he'd probably be a cakewalk. I used Frostallion and had little issue even with the damage reduction.

The Lv 60 Oil Rig has a boss. Its a Helicopter. Yes, its a fucking nightmare. If you do not have a Guided Multi Missle Launcher, don't even try. You will not win. This boss will stay spawned until you kill it, and the damage you do remains even if you die.
As soon as you attempt to "hack" the cage around the main treasure chest, it will spawn. Make damn sure you have every mob nearby cleared and note a nearby shack to hide in. Once you spawn it, get the fuck to that shack. There is only 1-2 second gaps in between this things attacks and it will chew through even the best armor and shield fast. Your only strategy is to pop out, launch 4 missiles, and get back in until your shields back. If you have a good Pal that can take a bit of punishment, you can sometimes use them to bait attacks to get an extra round of missiles in.
If you die, all the mobs respawn. At this point, get used to camping the ramp leading onto the rig to recover stamina, and floating in the water behind pillars while your shield recovers. This boss fucking sucks.

I've only fought one Xenolord. I won, but it wasn't easy. My mount was a Frostallion for extra damage, and my main weapon was a Purple Lazer Gatling. I used about 3000 rounds, so be prepared to use a ton of resources. I have about 90 battle ready Pals, and this fucker knocked out about 50 of them. Blazamutt doesn't even get 1 any more for contrast. Load up on Bastigor and Frostallion for this one. Absolutely do not have anything you don't want to lose at the base you fight this thing, it doesn't focus the Palbox as much as Mutt, but it will destroy everything else. Keep Repair Kits on your person so you can repair your box in between sending out fresh Pals.
Part way through the fight, it will summon a metric fuck ton of Xenovader, like so many you can't waste time on them. Just stay in the air and keep shooting. Xenolord does not seem to have a phase 2 like Mutt or Noir, but has 1.3m HP. I had about 1:30 to spare at the end.

Xenolord itself is a decent mount. Good flight speed (2nd fastest behind Jet), decent stamina, and you can shoot while mounted. Doesn't give the element boost though, so Frostallion is still optimal for a lot of stuff. Still need to beat Hard Bjorn, but I really don't want to fight that fucking Rig Boss again to try and get better schems... My word does that boss fucking suck dick.

I don't think I'm gonna be a fan of predator pals. Flew through the entire map, didn't see a single one. Gave up, looked up a map, went back and forth at the Digtoise spot for like 30 minutes, saved and reloaded dozens of times, nothing.

They may be time of day sensitive. I had one that was in the ruins in the northern green zone at volcano island to spawn two times, and no more after that. It seems like a mechanic that works better if you start a new character and have to re-explore.

After looking for a few myself and seeing they're not 100% spawns, I gave up on trying. The only thing Carnage Cores are used for is Meowmere (200 attack, so its pretty much worthless past early game anyway) and the extra inventory space. I've been dealing with the default inventory for a year now, I can continue to manage just fine without the upgrades. Its already bad enough they're not marked, then you give them an abysmal spawn rate. I'll pass.

I got them eventually. The pouches do stack, so I don't have to discard shit anymore.
Only today did I notice the expedition dungeon, research station, palmetal pickaxe and many other things. Turns out I was terminally short on technology points so I spent several ingame days running dungeons hoping to find manuals.
Did they introduce an additional way of pernanently strengthening a Pal that I'm not aware of? My Lovander has +60% HP/ATK/DEF/work speed from souls, is 4 stars, an alpha, with the best attacks and traits possible, maxed on skill fruits, and level 60. I'd still want more. Food is temporary and can only do so much.
