If Trump was smart, he would take this time and make an example of Musk. This is an easy layup for Trump: Musk hates Americans, EV's are total faggot vehicles, rocketships to Mars are stupid, robots will replace you, etc. The Democrats trying to get under Trump's skin by saying "President Musk" should be used as leverage as well.

Trump should keep Musk on a short leash if he cares at all about public support. His own kid Barron doesn’t seem to like Musk..: to him, this clown is trying to adopt Trump like his personal Daddy. Why was he at the Trump Thanksgiving, again? … Musk wants a governmental collapse so he can have his autistic techno-homo-Utopia. No one can trust him. Trump at least seems to believe in the concept of the US, like most boomers his age.
Despite all the ridiculous paid Musk spam online (Jesus Christ I wish I could block it all on YouTube!) many people still think Musk is a weirdo and snake oil salesman. Trump shouldn’t appear to rely on Musk too much.

He absolutely will. As many journalists have already pointed out (there was a bunch of articles about this exact topic a month ago), members of Trump's circle rarely lasts long, & the few longtime Trump loyalists apparently despise Musk (for example, apparently Musk kept getting into arguments with fellow members of Trump's circle in Mar a Largo, 'cause Musk is an annoying af autist). TLDR, Musk's days are numbered. He served his purpose during the election, and now Trump can send him off into the sunset. Maybe give him a consolation ambassadorship or something.

I think Elon & the rest of the conservative technocrats misjudged Trump's populism as being merely an election strategy/grift. Say what you want about Trump, but I do think he cares about the average American Joe, and wants to do what's best for normal average people. Trump's recent comments about Canada mean he's well aware of what unrestricted 'jeet immigration did to our neighbors up north.

Trump was probably willing to dance with the Devil to get a chance at winning. He can’t run for reelection, so hopefully he puts Musk back in his place. Musk literally goaded people to start civil war in Texas about a year ago. He can’t be trusted.

If Elon had any real friends they would be texting or DMing him to shut the fuck up and wait until the coke and adderal wears off before continuing to tweet. He's fucking humiliating himself and he doesn't understand it because he has an infinite supply of ballwashers to come suck up to him. If you look at the accounts agreeing with him they are all doing so in a servile and pathetic fashion hoping to extract some kind of clout from the interaction.
