made a khrushchev portrait, i did some extra steps with it but there are parts (like the medal) that feel off
if youre wondering why i didnt crop it its because resizing it when cropped screwed up the aspect ratio to all hell, thing is making this an actual submod might work since all it involves is rewriting localisation

i also brushed up brezhnevs portrait

ive never tried making portraits for HOI4, these are my first ever portraits. still, brezhnev is too small in the portrait and feels very out of place, khrushchevs less so but its still a bit small. im at a loss for keeping my current source portrait but maintaining the TNO-style size. for context here's how the portrait looks when resized to be a hoi4 border

good idea, but ive tested khrushchev ingame and his portrait is too small for my taste, i'll use the same source but ill crop it. ive done some digging around in the code and ive used kaganoviches character files to make brezhnev, but i dont know how to make khrushchev the starting leader so right now ive got no leader for tyumen
anyways here's my plan for the mod, it'll follow the general tyumen storyline so ill go over the major changes: khrushchev couped kaganovich after the WRW, tried liberalizing but slid back into regular stalinism after the black league and rokossovsky broke off, brezhnev obviously wont liberalize as much but he wont be a die-hard stalinist like kaganovich.
if i can i'll change the focuses to give khrushchev buffs when it comes to military and industry, because i want brezhnev to be a struggle in comparison to khrushchev. i also plan on giving them two custom portraits and descriptions for when they unify russia (brezhnev will be slightly older, khrushchev will outright have a ton of medals/a marshals uniform on). considering the changes i'll make, it'll prob be compatible with most versions of TNO that dont touch tyumen (and maybe the PRC) and the 2WRW. one thing i am worried about is removing brezhnev as a general from the PRC since i noticed that there are IDs assigned to generals, and im afraid that if i remove him it'll break the whole general system

The first image is right though. Fascist and monarchist paths are the ones that offer the best gameplay experiences, followed by communism and then democracy. A friend did a Comintern Hungary run recently and these are the pathetic cores you get from it, who would play that?

Well my autistic ass became a monarchist appreciator and Kaiserboo after playing KR/KX. I also recently bought a book written by Corneliu Codreanu after playing as Romania in Führerredux. But I am confident that I and these redditors would probably have developed the same world view without HoI4, with the game only accelerating the process.
I don't want to but most of these HoI4 players were most likely brought up with a liberal education that never exposed them to any radical ideology, so for the redditors this was probably the first time they've seen someone, who was just as retarded as them.

The manifesto is a call to action above all else Das Kapital is much more interesting in my opinion as it delves into Marx's theory of capitalism and his criticisms of it. Though a lot of it is outdated, like the chapters on child labor and shortening the workday to 10 hours.

You may find it amusing that Marx argued vehemently against women working in industry and equated it with exploiting child labor. Yes stalker children, Marx hated women and thus was a fascist.

I'm not even a fan of what they would consider right wing populism and think Trump is a buffoon and American conservatives are retarded for being so culty around him. You can make it quick and to the point and what was cut out was the more flowery language that was added in that was trying to drive home that fascism is bad. And that is the point that TNO and those inspired by it want to lecture and tut-tut you on the proper way to flow politics and godguyism. This even extends to other things. I used to work on the now defunct Hearts of Durasteel Clone Wars HOI4 mod. There was a guy on that team who said he did not want any of the bad paths like Sheev human supremacist Empire or radical corporate CIS to have good or win paths. That he wanted them to always collapse a la TNO so that the Chuds cannot be happy or get their fantasy to project onto. To many their brainrot has stepped in and if you are not constantly reminding people how bad they are during fascist or auth soc paths then your mod must support that. Its part of the issue of modern zoomers not understanding that a thing in fiction is not condoning it but I yapped enough here.
