I would be very surprised if he has a normal sex drive at this rate, given the meds he's been on over the years and the terrible state of his health. If it was purely sex he'd be using his free cash to gorge on prostitutes instead of junk food.

I think having a pretty young girlfriend is a stand in for all the success in life that's unattainable for him.
