However, chances for tissue rejection increase with discrepancies in sex because that’s a whole chromosome of genetic data missing.

Adult blood cells shed their nuclei so that they no longer have chromosomes, and yet the sexed history of the cell makes blood transfusions between people of the opposite sex less effective than intrasex ones. Women have a stronger immune response to men and can have literal anti-male antibodies in their blood. Sex isn’t an irrelevant trait. It matters a lot in healthcare. See attachment labelled Chen et al. below for a good example of what I mean.

And those are just the extra complications caused when you transplant a larger male kidney into a female body, or whatever. That’s not what this moron is saying. He’s saying he wants to transplant a whole fucking organ that doesn’t exist in males. A whole fucking organ that might not even fit properly in his pelvis, with no connection to the outside of the body… it’s complete fucking lunacy. The hubris is astounding.

And that’s just “sticking a uterus inside this moron and not having him die on the operating table”. There’s a million other issues. Let me list a few:

• Where is he going to get these uteruses?
• What sort of quality would these uteruses be?
  • If he takes it from a hypothetical transman donor, we’re talking about a uterus exposed to teratogenic testosterone.
  • If we’re talking a corpse, à la Kevin Gibes, we’re talking a uterus that may be older than the male recipient.
  • Seriously, where the fuck does Buffalo Bill intend to get these things?
• Just because he has a womb transplanted inside of him doesn’t mean he has a vagina, a cervix, or ovaries.
  • How will the baby get inside?
  • How will the baby get out? Ceasaerean section? The risk of sepsis isn’t high enough already for these clowns?
  • Even if a man did shit a baby out… if he doesn’t have egg cells, he can never be a mother. He will just be the surrogate to an actual woman’s baby, made with her actual female gametes.
• In order to maintain an organ transplant, they would need immunosuppressants to prevent tissue rejection. Most people who get (normal, medically necessary) organ transplants have to stay on immunosuppressants forever.
• Women can get pregnant while on immunosuppressants, but it has increased risk for mother and baby, and the dose is often titrated down.
