JESSE ROUGEAU RESIGNS
Jesse Rougeau, the defendent in a lolsuit about game piracy (archive) has resigned today. Covered extensively in this thread, they will be remembered for getting promoted by having sex with a necrophiliac and blocking the game from having a functional medical system for 2 years, not doing any work and instead focusing all their energy on causing literally dozens of people to leave the project.

Jesse then, after leaving, spent like 20 minutes arguing with commenters that they are wrong to celebrate his exit and it's insensitive to not like him for blocking medical for 2 years.

Somehow despite being named as one of the major reasons half the staff quit last month, this guy has been isolated in the polycule echo chamber so long he doesn't understand that literally nobody that isn't (e) fucking him likes him at all.

Remember, the only thing PJB did in response to half his staff leaving was remove one of Jesse's symbolic titles while keeping him around as a maintainer and leaving his zoophile boyfriend as defacto 2IC.

Fun fact: the guy that made this commit is the same teenager from that "you made me gender fluid" screenshot that got groomed by PJB, and is probably their only substantial staff gain this year.

PJB has authblocked 2 additional servers, with promises to execute more unless his demands are met. Remember authblock stops all connections, including direct connections.

In addition, a random low-pop server with zero affiliation to EE and fucking /vg/station's experimental SS14 server that just launched and hasn't even had an actual round have been dehubbed today with no explanation.

Earlier this month, the 2nd largest English server group that literally breaks 200+ players was temporarily dehubbed for "bigotry in the server title." That bigotry? "100% Felinid Free Command"

Updates
  • early pre-alpha squirrels
    • the issue squirrels have been facing is they are boring to work on since so much work is required to enable them to function properly
      • defined their HUD finally (currently nonfunctional but annoyingly complex to do and now out of the way)
    • crappy squirrels is better than no squirrels so yeet
  • energy swords and energy shields now fit on combat belts
  • energy sword buffed massively as it turns out they were quite weak compared to what you'd expect
  • surgery tools now fit into the medical belt (@HahaYes)

Future for squirrels
  • they shall have one combined 'hands' slot to carry stuff as I have never seen a squirrel in real life dual weilding
  • they will harvest squirrel resources to create more squirrels and build certain things such as their space suits
    • eating wires
    • farming nuts via starlight
  • the squirrel races will wage war to destroy eachother's nests (spawn points)
  • they will get to piggyback off of attack_generic which has been fleshed out a bit for xenos, though they will do low-tier damage only (there is a 10-15 damage threshold that locks out destroying most things)
  • people will be able to really easily totally ruin the squirrel war to put a stop to them screwing with the station wiring
  • may get around to confining them to a squirrel language that forces them to always say 'nut' in any given message?
Once thats done probably squirrels will be ignored forever as its turning into a bit of a science project. I may also commission some racist venezuelan sprite effort for their nests and resources

There's an interview video there where you can see he's extremely awkward IRL. I cannot figure out how to download it so any archival experts here that can get this video would be very helpful. Anyways, being a bit of a sperg myself, right after uni is probably one of the most difficult times of your life and you can either power through it or just burn out completely. PJB instead retreats more and more into his mind, is not offered a job after this (I don't know the details), and apparently these days is a complete NEET recluse who never leaves the house. In my opinion despite the transition not helping it's just another symptom of this guy being totally unprepared for the real world and trying to put it off with fantasy. He keeps getting these like near cub porn avatars recently which I think (hope) is showing Peter Pan syndrome more than pedophilia

It took me a little longer than I had hoped. Encoders weren't playing nice with my system and the original video is 552 mb encoded in H264 1080p@25FPS with a stero 48kHz@32bits audio... Changed to ~24FPS@720p vorbis for a total file size of ~21mbs, any further quality drops you gain like 50,000 bytes with the video terrible like serbian turbofolk music.
