Military Equipment Sperging Thread - The Tiger II is a better tank than the M1 Abrams edition

Do you reckon the FPV killcams are a staple of warfare to stay?
It's uniquely brutal propaganda.
FPV, Bodycams are going to be a staple piece of propaganda in future wars, guarantee.
LEO bodycams already get millions of views online, I see no reason why videos of people assaulting defensive fortifications, clearing houses, etc, wouldn't be as popular online.

Most likely, yes. Especially seeing the number of people on twitter openly jacking off to it.
Say what you want about FPV drone footage, but at least there's one good thing that's came out of it. It's a very good litmus test for figuring out who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near vulnerable beings (mainly children or animals).

Did the Stryker Dragoon ever go anywhere? I thought it was a pretty neat idea.
Yep
There is over 100 in inventory, yes, it's been a success frankly
Indeed and the Army is getting more in a "2.0" version with a Rafael turret. Army is asking for 269

Even just the base model is pretty as fuck. The carry capacity of a APC with a big ass 30mm turret. The Stryker in general is one of my favorites. Reminds me of the Mako from Mass Effect. But real.

Someone in the military thought to themselves what if we could make a really really ugly looking paladin with an obnoxiously long barrel and act surprised that having a massive barrel hanging that far with absolutely no additional support would cause wear and tear on the barrel and make the gun have structural issues who could have thought that.

Someone thought to themselves who needs to load this onto a ship and make sure it doesn't constantly have its barrel hitting into things this is 100% a great design is the thing.

You know you could mount the chassis towards the back of the tank and pull the barrel into the overall hole of the tank Nah just strap longer with barrel to a paladin

Both times I got to drop a mk83 I felt like I was trying to fuck open this whole flat earth, I can only imagine what one of those feels like
I would think they would let you drop 1000 pounders in the military more often. More bang for the buck. And it flattens mostly everything.

Depends on the platform. I didn't know anyone in the Harrier community that dropped them outside of the initial border strikes against bunkers around Basra and Naj. But F14Ds carried them all the time.

I was lucky to get two drops in training tbh

For the low low price of a few thousand dollars, you too can have the exact same capability and lethality the US military has spent hundreds of billions of dollars and decades of years perfecting.

The sooner the retards running the US Military realize this the better.

Its honestly disturbing and some serious dehumanizing going on that greatly extends beyond the horrors soldiers actually on the battlefield see. In a lot of cases the people operating the drones are just executing dudes who are effectively surrendered. Saw a video the other day of a presumably wounded Russian soldier who was abandoned on a stretcher, no arms near him at all killed with a drone.

If you walked up and put a bullet in the guy's head instead that would be considered a grievous warcrime. But hit him with a drone? Western propaganda.

US military procurement has been absolutely pants on head retarded since the end of the cold war. The closest thing to a success or good program is the Stryker, but even that had teething issues and off shoot abortions like the MGS as shown.
