Are tech companies still doing the newspaper job wanted trick?

The one where they post an ad for a javascript programmer in some small circulation bay area newspaper, sometimes literal retiree newspapers. And its written in telegram shorthand so its unreadable to anyone born post-1920, then when they get no responses they can claim to have done due diligence in trying to find an American for the position.

Yes, this trick (or stuff like it) is not only well-known but effectively the standard. You also don't have to publish these jobs in some newspaper nobody reads, you can post them in perpetuity online and make up any reason you like for not hiring domestic.

That's a 5-minute chart for a single day. Tesla has dropped for sure but its overall trend is still way up and it has had many 1-day drops of similar or greater magnitude in the past. Here's a chart going back to 2019:

Don't bother, I've already tried talking sense. In addition to this, every tech company is down today (not just the index because TSLA is highly weighted in it). The amount varies, but it necessarily follows that the most speculative of them all would be hit the hardest by a market downturn. I wasn't going to bother posting this but since you started it.

It doesn’t have the ability to climb right now, zoom in to see the double top for December this year. Very bearish for short sellers. Also Tesla’s income is overinflated at like 100 - 1 on a scale of share value to company product revenue.

Musk is unbothered by the Dittmann thing. You can tell by the number of ROFL emojis.

We've reached the point where people are going into debt to buy groceries. We are dangerously close to normal, working people losing access to food and shelter. That's a line that cannot be crossed, because once you're starving, there's nothing to lose from engaging in political violence. The goal of all billionaires, including Elon, is to extract wealth by edging as close to that line as possible. However, they're starting to get extra greedy as there's not much wealth left to take from the rest of us, and they're fucking up. Eventually someone will slip up and people will realize that the cost benefit math on continuing on as usual no longer works out.

Where the fuck are the 122 replies to the first reply? Or the 42 replies to that other one? I only see three or four on every post.
This is just as bad as, or worse than youtube shadowbanning comments.

Refreshed, this is all I see now. I swear this isn't fucking edited. The replies are straight up just gone. Horrific.

That's why Elon wants to make the police drones and police robots.
One of the biggest problems I see is that social media is being terraformed by NGOs and fake influencers and content that seeks to distract people's anger towards the wrong targets.... while also flooding platforms with content that paints people like Elon Musk (and similar moguls and sociopaths) as some kind of savior.

"We" have to keep reminding people, when it comes up in conversation, that Elon Musk is a piece of shit. "We" need to counter this PROPAGANDA online that props up useless tech bros, crypto creeps, slimy pick up artists, staged influencers, Musk-backed influencers, etc.. It's too bad so many of us are struggling to make ends meet. IF I had money to burn, I'd figure out how to counter-act some of these propaganda accounts on various platforms with my own AI generated propaganda trash.

Social media is totally terraformed nowadays, so little of it is organic anymore. For example, instead of focusing on billionaire sociopaths wrecking the US economy, the paid puppets on Daily Wire focus not the same staged tik-toks of sexy teen girls complaining about men, so their audience can focus all their HATE on "pussy I can't have". It's rage bait and a total distraction. Same for the left wing influencers who focus in on "MAGA dinguses" "Nahtzees" and stoke hate for those designated "safe" enemies. Meaning, these are "safe" enemies for the elite to distract us with.

I notice in German media right now, there is a lot of hate being stoked for the US. Granted, they have their legitimate grievances, but at the SAME time they are PRAISING Elon Musk for helping the AfD. Do these people NOT realize that Musk wants to BUY his way into their country and WRECK it, too? They're focused on hating Joe Blow Blue collar American when it's really Elon Musk, their corrupt politicians, and any other military sub contracting company, they should be "worrying" about. However, for the elite German establishment, "those ugly American chuds" are "safe enemies" for their citizens to worry about. It's like the public is constantly fed "soft targets" to be angry at, and we tend to fall for it.

I mean, even the immigrants I work with despise the indiscriminate influx of less educated immigrants. Why IT, anyway? Why should we have foreigners (who might have our worst interests at heart) working in something as sensitive as our tech industry? There are so many legitimate gripes to have, but social media won't address them because TECH CONTROLS THE NARRATIVE.

Like with that Rudyard Lynch going berserk online, as it turns out, he was groomed and financed in part by some NGO called "Natural Law Institute". Many young people watching him probably thought he was just some smart "normie" middle class kid, but as it turns out he comes from big money and has sponsors. He's like a paid circus clown, meant to distract the younger audience into some delusional belief that they are going to be part of some elite monarchy if they concede all democracy and give our country over to the tech overlords, and that if we eradicate all hard cash for bitcoin "we will all live like Kangs!"

Many younger people might not understand WHY Musk's statements make people angry, so those of us who "know" need to explain to them why. Older folks remember when most US jobs were held by AMERICANS, and when actual AMERICANS were the ones monitoring chat rooms on AOL. The internet was so much better and more useful back in the old days, even though it was slow as fuck.

If the cyber truck is Elon’s crown achievement of Tesla then my suspicions are right and it’ll dump heavily. The cyber truck is by far one of the worst cars in the market right now, incredibly overpriced and poorly made compared to most EV trucks. There have been complaints about quality control and how it feels rushed to push software applications.

I could see him proposing to do something with NASA or with police/soldier robots, and having the US taxpayer go bankrupt funding it, only for it to fail miserably/fail to meet the promises Musk makes. Then he'll just blame the "lazy American workers" for it failing. OR, he'll push some massive crypto scam and we will lose any remaining social safety nets we have-- Medicare, Social Security, etc..

I really hope Dittman isn't Elon because if it is, it shows that some of the most powerful men in the world today are just as sad and fragile as your average lolcow.
Elon needs to understand that people like him are the modern day earls and barons, the people beneath them want a virtuous leader and are deprived of any meaningful leadership.
The people Elon looks to replace Americans with will overthrow him the moment they think they have a chance.

Rokos basilisk is the gayest thought experiment ever conceived and anyone who takes it seriously is a faggot. It's a filter between people who are intelligent and people who are wise
It also assumes that computers would have the same kind of consciousness as us which is absurd but a different topic. There's no reason an AI would even understand revenge the way a person does, people think an AI is going to be like a really really smart person when in reality it'll be like making our own aliens to talk with.

He’ll just piss off every hedge on earth, what could go wrong? Billy boy Gates still holds his short. Remember, he did all this Indian shit first by going over there. He knows this game better than Elon and will throw him under the bus to maintain Microsoft’s foot in the door of every government desktop.

You'd have a better chance with an finite amount of lobotomized monkeys to realize that project than with an infinite amount of indians.

Best part? He'll never see it coming until it's too late. No matter how obvious, embracing sociopathy to such a degree only attracts other sociopaths.
