We've reached the point where people are going into debt to buy groceries. We are dangerously close to normal, working people losing access to food and shelter. That's a line that cannot be crossed, because once you're starving, there's nothing to lose from engaging in political violence. The goal of all billionaires, including Elon, is to extract wealth by edging as close to that line as possible. However, they're starting to get extra greedy as there's not much wealth left to take from the rest of us, and they're fucking up. Eventually someone will slip up and people will realize that the cost benefit math on continuing on as usual no longer works out.
That's why Elon wants to make the police drones and police robots.
One of the biggest problems I see is that social media is being terraformed by NGOs and fake influencers and content that seeks to distract people's anger towards the wrong targets.... while also flooding platforms with content that paints people like Elon Musk (and similar moguls and sociopaths) as some kind of savior.
"We" have to keep reminding people, when it comes up in conversation, that Elon Musk is a piece of shit. "We" need to counter this PROPAGANDA online that props up useless tech bros, crypto creeps, slimy pick up artists, staged influencers, Musk-backed influencers, etc.. It's too bad so many of us are struggling to make ends meet. IF I had money to burn, I'd figure out how to counter-act some of these propaganda accounts on various platforms with my own AI generated propaganda trash.
Social media is totally terraformed nowadays, so little of it is organic anymore. For example, instead of focusing on billionaire sociopaths wrecking the US economy, the paid puppets on Daily Wire focus not the same staged tik-toks of sexy teen girls complaining about men, so their audience can focus all their HATE on "pussy I can't have". It's rage bait and a total distraction. Same for the left wing influencers who focus in on "MAGA dinguses" "Nahtzees" and stoke hate for those designated "safe" enemies. Meaning, these are "safe" enemies for the elite to distract us with.
I notice in German media right now, there is a lot of hate being stoked for the US. Granted, they have their legitimate grievances, but at the SAME time they are PRAISING Elon Musk for helping the AfD. Do these people NOT realize that Musk wants to BUY his way into their country and WRECK it, too? They're focused on hating Joe Blow Blue collar American when it's really Elon Musk, their corrupt politicians, and any other military sub contracting company, they should be "worrying" about. However, for the elite German establishment, "those ugly American chuds" are "safe enemies" for their citizens to worry about. It's like the public is constantly fed "soft targets" to be angry at, and we tend to fall for it.
I mean, even the immigrants I work with despise the indiscriminate influx of less educated immigrants. Why IT, anyway? Why should we have foreigners (who might have our worst interests at heart) working in something as sensitive as our tech industry? There are so many legitimate gripes to have, but social media won't address them because TECH CONTROLS THE NARRATIVE.
Like with that Rudyard Lynch going berserk online, as it turns out, he was groomed and financed in part by some NGO called "Natural Law Institute". Many young people watching him probably thought he was just some smart "normie" middle class kid, but as it turns out he comes from big money and has sponsors. He's like a paid circus clown, meant to distract the younger audience into some delusional belief that they are going to be part of some elite monarchy if they concede all democracy and give our country over to the tech overlords, and that if we eradicate all hard cash for bitcoin "we will all live like Kangs!"
Many younger people might not understand WHY Musk's statements make people angry, so those of us who "know" need to explain to them why. Older folks remember when most US jobs were held by AMERICANS, and when actual AMERICANS were the ones monitoring chat rooms on AOL. The internet was so much better and more useful back in the old days, even though it was slow as fuck.
