One of two actually, which is the biggest flaw of the theory that Nick, reeling from his dealer having a dry spell, dipped into the next-best stimulant at hand and later pulled a Nacho Varga filling the emptied capsules with coke hoping it would give the kid enough pep to not notice the difference, and to never even know to tell cops or social workers about a difference if and when asked. Why would he do that to only the daughter's ritalin when there was plenty of the son's perfectly good ritalin to go around too?
Or if he did do the same thing to both and the son's hair test was positive enough that it would have counted for purposes of a commercial driver's 100 ng/mL cutoff but was treated as negative in court for purposes of the 500 ng/mL CHIPS cutoff, then why did his sister beat his high score by an order of magnitude and then some?
None of it makes sense unless the explanation has nothing to do with ADD meds and is unique to her.
