Troonslop "Retro" Games / Demake games / PS1 Trannies / ULTRAKILL / Y2K trannies - Retro gaming is infected

I wonder what percent of the indie market is just Balatro and Vampire Survivors sales? I get that part of it is the 80/20 rule, but it seems like the scene is mostly plateauing/stagnating while journalists talk about how much its booming. It might be like how the Stock Market was earlier this year, where most things were trending downward but the S&P 500 was still up because AI stocks were doing extraordinarily well.

At least they're fun. Supposedly. VS is fun up until you learn how to break the game over your knee and turn every single run into a seizure-inducing mess where you can't even make out what the fuck is happening on your screen aside from a flood of numbers and special effects. Bonus points if you create the weapon/passive combination that basically lets you noclip around the map at hyperSANIC speeds.

If you are going to avoid everything trannies cling to then you might as well not bother developing videogames. Celeste has none of what you listed and it is THE tranny videogame even if it has nothing to do with being a tranny.
I have not played celeste, I have no interest to no matter how “good” it is, but I have theories on why it appeals so much to troons:
  • Repetition - From what I’ve seen, the gameplay loop boils down from getting from point A to point B, just jumping through comical amounts of spikes or whatever it has. It also seems to feature the speed running loop: a repetitive, addictive factor that puts an autist’s mind at bay.
  • The style - it seems like it’s styled as very “safe”, with wholesome 100 character designs, safe pastel colors, all the stuff that makes a tranny think of what’s “feminine”. Also the fact that you play as a little girl seems to make the crowd happy, maybe a bit too happy
Undertale has Tumblr humor (which makes sense because Toby "fwungradiation" Fox helped with developing Homestuck, aka the webcomic that was assraped because Tumblr latched onto it)
And Deltarune has queer humor.
Both may be a bit different, but they are all the same essential Trooncore.
Unfortunately deltarune suffers from heavy homosexual implications with the characters
  • Kris is almost a very strong take on the silent protagonist protagonist but the theythemtard shit isn’t very good. I think he’s clearly written as a man, mainly with his implied dynamic with asriel clearly painting him as a brother to asriel. If Kris was written as a girl, they would be much more distant.
  • Ralsei’s non-glasses design is weirdly over-feminine, I don’t know why he has eye shadow, that really weirded me out. Also the weird undertones with some of his dialogue
  • Suzy’s probably the most normal of the four, written as a tomboy archetype. She’s a good character whenever the creepy bitch is off-screen
  • Noelle is the worst part of the story to me, she has no personality outside of being an obnoxious dyke who creepily obsesses over Suzy, and the script treats it as something totally silly and wholesome instead of seriously weird. Outside of these moments she’s not very interesting, Ralsei already fills the “friendly party member” trope well enough. Also the Ferris wheel scene was really unnecessary and just felt like fuel for Toby’s lesbian furry fetish
Cool game aside from this, I like the gameplay

There was actually a Spamton sweepstakes page that had an interesting expansion on this or at the very least* a big nudge at it.
My hope is that Toby has wisened up to what irritated people about UNDERTALE. Berdly was a huge step in the right direction.

*Just saw an interesting theory that it may be a crystal vision based on the page's theme compared to the other blogposts

So if you don't know, Ultrakill has this "combo" system, its not really a combo but essentially the better you play the more your combo score goes up, and depending on how up your combo score is you'll get a special rank from C to S. This is pretty cool on paper but the issue comes when the skill ceiling for getting S ranks on levels is RIDICULOUS, seriously, go on youtube and look up "ultrakill S rank level" and the amount of dedication and flawless execution you need to get the S ranks is absurd. This would not be an issue if it wasn't required to experience the entire game as is, but that's not the case, you need to get S ranks to play the secret levels which is just dumb and I hate it.
I didn't know much about this game outside of some gameplay here and there and the hints of wokeness but i didn't know it went THIS DEEP. The game itself turned me away because every time i see gameplay it's one of those games that looks impressive if you're the person who spends every hour learning every single optimal movement and placement of where things are and where to shoot but then i realize that might be the point. It's a game that is fun to watch not play. I know i am wrong since maybe i'll pick it up later but what i learned from these people is they love these games that take after modern doom. These hyper movement dopamine shooters that make them feel "cracked" for having a seizure with their mouse and seeing those SSSSSSSS ranks.

Thank you, Youtube recommendations, for reminding me to stay away from this game.

He's on day 24 btw.

What would y’all’s idea for a reverse troonslop game be like
Deep State. For one it looks like an early-2000s PC game rather than a PS1 game, an aesthetic so far untouched by troons AFAIK. It also has direct references to the "you will eat the bugs" meme and is set in a sort of WEF dystopia, which the average troon would probably find objectionable. There used to be a demo on Itch but not anymore unfortunately. Very promising game, I'm looking forward to playing the full version.

Does it lose a few points for doing colabs with games like this slop

or a grinder box that was infested by fags and troons

They're just cosmetic skins of largely uncontroversial, non-troon games (even if some are pozzed). Let them have their fun and free engagement, whatever that means for a $15 game. Unless they turn the Queens and Kings into non-binary blobs they can't fuck it up.
Then again, Terraria is also planning to switch to "body types"...

I miss Warframe man... I miss what it was before T*nc*nt bought it and turned it into a troon echo chamber with non-binary frames and pride parades long after the 21st century...
Warframe was always gaynigger shit waiting to come out of the closet. If it hasn't been buried by time and revisionists, you should look into the whole mess with Warbros from...

Holy shit has it really been a decade already?

I always got a bad vibe off Ultrakill even before the astroturfed "fandom" cropped up. I think it was the combo system that tipped me off. Platinum style combo systems and "wacky" edgelord characters always go crazy with the genderspecial crowd, as much as Playstation 1 style graphics. Sad to see this rot come to shooters.

As for Deltatroon, the gay furry romance was the worst part of Undertale, but it was fairly minimal thanks to the player controlling one silent protagonist. Making gay furry romance the central focus with a whole rainbow party of LGBBQs does not create a product I particularly want to engage with. It reminds me entirely too much what happened to Homestuck after it introduced the trolls.

I hate how all cozy games are infected by this shit. Bought a game called Fields of Mistria, has good reviews and I needed another game to stem my addiction before Chocolatier comes out, didnt check this site and was immediately greeted by a pronoun page with pronouns like "She/Him".

Shoulda stuck with Harvest Moon man

I dunno why troons are so into farming games but its very frustrating opening my menu and seeing "Pronouns" instead of "Gender". I really like the game other than that but there is a part of me thats like

"Damn I gave ten dollars to support this shit even if I like the game."

Also not a cozy game but Mouthwashing has the most viscerally unappealing artstyle to me. I think it has to do with the fucked up faces, cuz I love games on PS1 with that sorta style like Final Fantasy VIII and Resident Evil 2, but mouthwashing just looks so gross to me lmao

This is an extremely autistic thing to get incensed about but
Time to sperg out about bad game names again. This isn't a PS1 tranny game so it might not be fully on topic but fuck it.

Decline's Drops is a 2D platformer with a Super Smash Bros-esque combat system, in which you are a wooden puppet fighting to avenge her destroyed home. The title does not convey any of that information, or anything about the vibe and atmosphere of the game, or even make sense when spoken. What is the proper noun Decline, and what are its drops? Or is it repeatedly dropping as in falling? Is 'decline' or 'drops' platform fighter lingo that fans of the genre may recognize? Even if that's the case, it's still meaningless to outsiders. Perhaps the phrase "decline's drops" makes more sense in whichever flavor of ESLglish the devs speak.
Naming is a thing that needs a good amount of thought put into it, but a lot of indie devs neglect it. In 80/20 rule terms it's part of the 20% of work that causes 80% of results, so not giving it the time of day is a pretty big own-goal. For an (unironically) good example of how to do it, see this twitter tranny's process of naming his 3D modeling software.

The name he ultimately chose was Half-Edge, which I think is serviceable.
