I also looked at the art style, and it looks like Final Fantasy, Pokemon, and Startropics had a three way and this game was the result, though the battle system has a slight Earthbound vibe to it.

I honestly hope that it turns out to be a perfectly fine game design-wise. All the shit games made by troons are hilarious but if I can enjoy the game mechanically while laughing at how dumb that's a huge bonus.

(Plus EarthBound's battle system was the tits and you'd have to be retarded to fuck up copying it)
