Owl brought it up in what I perceived as a snide tone that DC was reacting to these people to get views. Obviously that’s why she’s covering them on YouTube. Is Owl retarded? Does she do YouTube for fun? Anyway, she talked about how Ron covered the same topic just because it got DC views. Probably true, but then she went on to say that she herself might start covering Keepin it Keute.

It all just rubbed me the wrong way. The snarky way she talked about DC covering these reactors, and then to announce that she might move in and start to poach DC’s content? The one reaction channel only has like 500 subs. I’m sure it’s not because it got DC views of course! No doubt she’s doing it for more noble reasons. She did say that she would wait to see how DC fared going back and forth with the channels if that happened, so maybe this Twitter exchange will deter her.

I don’t know, maybe I’m feeling soft hearted because of the holidays, but DC is staying in a lane, trying to grow her channel, and I think it’s a rotten move to start covering the same stuff she’s reviewing because she’s doing it well.

I don't believe DC was even an inherently bad person, I think she got caught up in the internet bullshit and parasocial nonsense. She has expressed her regret, apologized, and has demonstrated that she has changed. She's someone who has held jobs and lived the straight and narrow, unlike someone like Sam, who is always walking the line of illegal activities and on the fringes of the law. DC's lives covering that vile woman reacting to Alex have been fun and I've quite enjoyed them. I always had a soft spot for DC and I gave her a hard time when she was behaving like a sped, but I think she's left that behind her. She was able to admit she made mistakes, and that's more then could be said about certain other people we discuss here. Peanut's hate boner for DC and her flipping out when Belinda wouldn't fall into line was very strange. I have never liked Peanut and I think she's nothing more than a fence riding wannabe who can't get her shit together long enough to get her channel off the ground. I don't understand this mentality. If Yaba lost 100lbs, I would cheer her on. If Sam quit Samming, I'd find it highly suspicious and wonder if aliens had replaced her, but I'd still be happy for her.

We've all done shitty things, and you'd think she, as someone who is so obsessively stuck on moralizing and forgiveness, would put that into practice. If DC wants to move on and the people she offended against have moved on, move on. You don't have to accept her apology, but you do have to accept her choice to move on.

I think there's a time limit on everything, and as long as people aren't sitting around trying to pretend they're upstanding individuals all the time, you shouldn't shove their face in their past messes. Elsewise we'll all be rolling around in shit 24/7 and that's nasty.

If my choices are:

2. Watching a woman who does none of those things plus knows how to modulate her voice, keep a stream pushing, and can speak on a wide range of topics in an informed manner
