It will happen because Disney is creatively bankrupt. They have no good ideas anymore.
They could be trying to tap into that niche audience that get off to Frollo gay porn. I'm not kidding.

Considering how Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is drawing out the pedos, furries, or both to openly lust after the elephant kid and more, this could be the new direction of Disney: a maker of niche fetish films.

You really didn't have to post any of it. If you really had to, a spoiler would have been nice.

Oh fuck off with this shit.
I tried to watch the first season of that, since I love nature shows and bugs, but wow it was awful. Didn't even finish the first episode. It wasn't a documentary at all, more like a faux dramatic thing where they humanised the bugs waaaaay too much to the point where it felt super staged.

I will now have that first image haunting my nightmares, thanks, I hate it.

Damn, I didn’t realize Disney hired Bogleech as a writer!

I fucking hate you for giving me visuals on this. Thank God Tony Jay isn't alive to be a part of any of this. SPOILER IT

As much as I loathe to play devil's advocate for nu-Disney, wasn't that pretty much what the True-Life Adventures series was?

Those were at least whimsical, A Real Bugs Life is both narrated by Akwafina and just has a whole different tone, plus they are clearly putting the bugs in these situations most of the time, which doesn't seem very ethical (sure it's bugs, but I watch nature documentaries for actual nature, not stuff forced via human hands). Much like that lemming 'documentary' that forced them all to jump from the cliff and die when they don't actually do that in nature.

Found Atlantis (and the sequel if anyone wants to watch one after the other and get quality whiplash) on Internet Archive.

Didnt know it was possible but hey, here's an easy way to watch it without paying disney or torrenting it.

Maybe Disney doesnt care, which, you know, good, because Atlantis and Treasure Planet are their early 2000's gems.

So what's with this conspiracy that Disney is paying theaters to not show Sonic?

The funny thing is that even if they arent doing that, the fact that this is something people wouldnt put beyond them just shows how bad their reputation is nowadays.

Captain marvel's opening weekend having completely barren movie theatres despite being supposedly fully booked was a clear tell of where we were in terms of disney pulling weird shit to inflate their own box office press numbers.

They are most unwise for insulting the Devourer of Death, the Origin of all Life, and the Hub of the Wheel of Fate.

I've heard good things about Treasure Planet and Atlantis, but never watched them. I dared not risk getting involved with anything Disney-related besides Howl's moving castle and Helen's ass the Incredibles.

Treasure Planet and Atlantis are classics. Same with Titan AE

You should watch Atlantis and Treasure Planet, the latter especially. The former has some flaws but is still great while the latter is an example of an adaptation that is better than the source material (its based of Treasure Island)

I think a significant issue with Atlantis is that we actually dont see much of Atlantis. By the time we reach it, the movie is practically near the climax. Tho it does make up with the sense of adventure and memorable side characters.
